first day at Northwood High

Sophia's POV

"SOPHIA GET YOUR BUT UP OUT OF BED AND GET CHANGED" My mum yelled at me from downstairs. I sprung up from my bed in fright, what was I gonna wear today? Well right now I didn't give a dam about my look so I just put on a baggy shirt and ripped jeans then tied my hair up in a loose bun and ran down stairs. My mum and I had recently moved from Australia to California I hated the fact that I had to leave all my friends behind me. My mum came because she had a job offer here and she didn't wanna decline it so now here I am! " Mum why did you wake me up so early"I groaned. My mum just grinned "don't tell me that you you forgot it's your first day at Northwood High" oh crap it is! "I'll drive you sweetie" "okay" I replied as I grabbed my lunch. "Hey! Don't forget to eat your breakfast!" "Sure" I grabbed my cereal and shoved it all down my throat. "okay let's go" I followed my mum to the car and got in. "remember it's just a new school be nice to everyone will be nice to you..."my mum went on and on with all the things mums are supposed to say until I got to school. "bye mum" I hopped out of the car looking at my new school as my mum drove off. I barely knew how to get around this place so I walked up to a girl with glasses "excuse me can you please tell me where the lockers are?"I asked politely. "sure follow me they're right this way by the way I love your accent! Is it British?"I swear I get asked this all the time by Americans they always wonder if I'm British. "haha no it's Australian" She grinned. "what's your name? Mine is Nikki." "well my name's Sophia and as you can already tell I'm new to the school"the bell rang right at that moment. "Well Sophia it was nice meeting you but I gotta get to maths class" "okay" hmm I had history class where is that? right as I was thinking about it I saw a door that said "history class"on it. I ran up to the door and went in. "Hi Sophia I am Mrs Weiland. Class we have a new student today her name is Sophia she came from Sydney Australia! please make her feel warm and welcome at this school" all the class just groaned and said "yes Mrs Weiland" "Sophia why don't you go sit at the back next to Leonardo"she pointed at the only empty seat I walked over to see an attractive guy with dirty blonde hair, and sat down next to him.
