All of my life I have wondered what was on the other side of the wall. No one was sure of what really was over it. At the age of 3 I could remember when everything was still 'normal'. At least I think that's what it was called. Up until the day that I had turned 16 I was send to this place that sorted us. The 'Good' from the 'Evil' I was pulled into a dark room only to be instantly grabbed by someone. They brought me into this dimly lit room a that had a fireplace going and they strapped me into a chair that was in the middle of the room. I was always told that bad things happened on the other side of the wall. Maybe... just maybe this is what's it's like on the other side. Lies.  All lies. Suddenly my arm felt like it was being burnt off. I was screaming because of how much it hurt. The figure pulled way the glowing piece of metal the it poured freezing cold water onto it. I was then roughly taken out of the chair and placed in a holding cell. I sit in the darkness awaiting my fate. As I waited for the figure to come back I gently rubbed the area they had just burned something into my arm. I tensed up at the sound of a door opening I look over to see someone else being thrown into the cell. It was a guy. Before I could say anything a recording started to play.

" Dear Death games team # 4,
If you are listening to this then you have successfully survived the marking stage. You have a few more stages to go before you get to participate in the final stage.
Good luck Willow and Fox we are eager to see you in the finals!"

I blankly stared into the darkness to where this 'Fox' guy would be. I just hear his heavy breathing and his small grunts. I actually kind of feel bad for him because I know how much it hurts. I slowly and cautiously walk over to him and sit next to him. He jumped back a little still holding his arm. 'Was he scared of me?' I couldn't stop my thoughts from racing when he kicked me back causing me to hit the wall. "What was that for? Aren't we teammates now?" I say slightly upset. "Oh sorry about that I thought they had came back for me. You know?" I just sat on the floor leaning against the wait without saying a thing. Some time has passed since we had talked to each other and with no way of seeing anything. It stayed like this for few hours. The figure had returned for us but there was more of them this time. They rushed into the cell with guns pointed at us. They were yelling something at us I couldn't really tell what it was because all I couldn't hear was the ringing in my ears. I tried to escape towards the dim light shining through the doorway. I got halfway there before I blacked out.

I slowly opened eyes. 'Why is everything so bright?' "Your finally awake. We have a lot of things to get done so hurry up!" "Fox you shouldn't be so harsh besides it could effect you in the long run." He just looked at me after my comment. I got up off the ground and walked over to Fox and looked out the window to see what was going on out side. To my surprise it was a training ground with the words Stage 2 written on the wall. Fox turned and looked at me dead I the eye and said "We will now be picking out our weapon. So let's get a move on." And with that we were on our way to stage two.
