It was a whole two weeks since they debuted. My birthday was tomorrow! I was so excited to find out what my parents have been hiding from me. I came home from school early, just to get a head start on homework so I didn't have to do it over the weekend. As soon as I walked through the door I was sent to my room to back a bag. Like out of the blue, go to your room and pack a bag. I set my things down in my room and packed a bag. My mom entered shortly after. She just smiled at me and stood in the doorway. "You might wanna pack something nice to where on your birthday." She winked before leaving the room. "Wait mom," she poked her head back into the room. "Can I bring my camera? And are we leaving tonight?" I asked and she nodded for both of them. I was really excited I didn't know exactly what was going on but I couldn't wait any longer!
It was about an hour later and I had everything packed. I had extra batteries for my camera and extra memory cards. I was just gonna take pretty scenery photos anyways. I headed downstairs with my luggage and stopped at the bottom of the stairs. "Oh my goodness, my daughter turns 17 tomorrow! You are growing up to fast," my dad pouted and gave me a funny face. "I'm ready!" I jump off the last stair and gently set my luggage on the ground next to it. "Okay the car is awaiting for you Miss." my dad bowed and took my luggage. I had a carryon with it was only a car ride but I had to keep my camera with me fo cute photos in he car. I walked out onto the front porch and saw a really neat SUV that kpop stars would get into. I had a mental fangirl moment. The guy got out of the car and opened the door for me. "Thank you!" I said before hopping in. I had joggers on and a hoodie. I looked like I was going to a dance studio. It was funny. My mom and dad got in after me. I sat in the back back. Where I.N. Would usually sit. I laughed to myself and slumped in my seat. "Where are we going?" I checked the time. 9:30pm. "You'll see when we get tomorrow. But right now you need sleep. We have to be at the place by 9:30am. So sleep!" My mom turned to look at me as the suv began to lurch forward. I settled back down into the chair place earbuds in and played a mix of TWICE, BTS, Got7, and Stray Kids. The great thing was I fell asleep instantly.
My mom and dad woke me up. It was still dark out. But it was bright where we were. "Wake up honey. We are at the hotel we will be staying at for 5 nights." I barely understood a thing she said. "Huh?" I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I climbed out of the vehicle and started walking to the hotel, half asleep. "Min Seo, wait for us we have to check in." My dad was pulling our luggage while my mom paid the Uber driver. "Mmhmm okay." I still was walking forward and headed inside. The front desk said hi but I just went to the couch and laid down. "Min Seo Get off the couch!" My mom yanked me off the couch. "Ow.. I'm up gosh." I hissed at mom. Dad quickly got the room key and we headed to the elevator. "Push the 9th floor." My dad said. That was the top floor. I chuckled to myself. "We going to district nine?" I laughed to myself. That was stupid. I need to shut up.
We got to the room. It was a suite. It was really nice too! I headed inside and went to the first bed I found. I curled up under the covers and checked the time. 3:30am. After I checked the time I went to sleep again.
"Happy Birthday to you. happy birthday to you! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR MIN SEO!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!" Mom and dad sang to me. I slowly peeled open my eyes and sit up to find a nice bag and some bubble tea with a chocolate chip muffin in front of me. "Awe, Thank you mom and dad!" I give them a cheeky smile. "Open the bag!" My dad practically begs. I do as I was told and grabbed the bag. I took the tissue paper out and found three laniards inside. I took the laniards out and looked at them. Their was also a receipt with an album from Stray Kids in the bag. "No. Nooo. Are you for real?" My jaw dropped and I stared at both of my parents. "Your kidding. This is a prank" mom and dad both shook their head no. I started crying. "You're not joking? I love you guys so much!" I took the laniards out and then the Stray Kids album out. I hugged both of them really tight and wiped my tears. "I love you guys! I can't believe it! When?" I said pulling out of the hug. "Well it's 7:00am so you better be getting ready!" My mom said wiping her tear that snuck out of her eye. "oh my gosh IM GONNA SEE STRAY KIDS!" I squealed before chugging my peach bubble tea and stuffing a chocolate chip muffin in my face. "I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!" I said through the mouth full of food.
