Mystic Falls High School was founded in 1945, by the local mayors nephew Julius Lockwood serving as principal. What originated as the only secondary school in Mystic Falls County and is now a lively campus of approximately 1,730 students.
In 1955, Eli Moore took the reins and set for a new school motto: Fostering excellence through knowledge, character, and integrity. This is the guiding legacy that shapes the school's culture of champions, and one the school's sixth principal, Maxwell Weber, continues to uphold to this day.
Located on Laurel Avenue in downtown Mystic Falls, our wonderful campus features state-of-the art classrooms, well-kept athletic fields, and a wealth of historic moments that will live on in Mystic Falls for many years to come.
