Amanda drove me to the airport and waved me off. We hugged one last time. She wished me luck and said 'Hey, tell Minx I said hi.' I nodded and waved. I looked for the woman that was on the flight coming here. I couldn't see her, mainly because I'm short so I can't really see much. I wasn't nervous on the plane this time. I knew Minx would be there, waiting for me, smiling. I put my headphones on and read a anime book, to take my mind off it.
As I entered the airport, I saw Minx holding a sign that read "My beautiful and nom girlfriend, Krism xxx"
I smiled and hugged her. It felt so good being in her arms again. She looked down at me and said 'I missed you' I looked up into her eyes and said 'I missed you more' and I kissed her. I missed seeing her, touching her, and talking in person. Minx picked up my suitcase and held my hand until we got to the car. She saw I was wearing the locket, and I saw she was wearing a bracelet, with a picture of us holding hands in. Our anniversary gifts for each other. I grinned and she grinned back.
It felt relaxing being at home again. I sighed deeply and fell on the couch. Minx offered to unpack my bags. I almost said yes but I remembered about the ring. 'No it's okay, YOU relax and I'll do it.' I said quickly. She nodded and sat next to me, her arm on my shoulders. 'It was horrible without you.' She said.' But you know the jewellers in town? The owners Hollie and Luke came to visit me, because they knew you had gone to America. They stayed with me nearly all day on Tuesday to see if I was coping okay.' I smiled and said 'That was really nice of them' I curled into a ball and snuggled into Minx's chest. I sighed and said 'I'm back now. It's okay' Minx looked down at me and kissed my forehead.
