"Why did she open her eyes yet mother?" A small voice asked.  The young kit felt her mother move towards the voice. "Because, she is still young like you, Amberkit. She will open them." The kit drifted to sleep as her mother talked.

A paw poked her. "Go away Amberkit!" Sweetkit nuzzled deeper into her mothers fur. "Come on Sweetkit! Mother said I can't go outside untill you open your eyes!" Amberkit sat beside her. Outside!  Sweetkit thought. She lifted her head and blinked.

Bright sunlight dazzled the young kit's eyes. "You've opened your eyes!" Amberkit bounced around Sweetkit. Sweetkit looked around. So many colors and places to explore! Sweetkit got up weakly. She shook her head and padded to her sister.

Paws crashed into Sweetkit and they fell over. She let out a weak mrow!  "Oh! Sorry." A ginger tom got off of Sweetkit. "Who are you?" Sweetkit sniffed. The tom leaped up. "I'm Mousekit!" He smiled.

Amberkit grabbed Sweetkit's scruff and dragged her back. "More like Mouse-brainkit!" Amberkit muttered. Sweetkit looked at Amberkit. "Are we going outside?" She whispered. Amberkit nodded and stalked towards the entrence, Sweetkit padded after.

Some much space! And so many cats! Sweetkit watched cats siting, laying, dozing, and everything else. She bounded into the camp circle. A white tom and brown tabby she-cat lifted thier heads and stared at them. Sweetkit scampered over.

"So your Fierceheart's kit?" The tom had a booming voice that hurt her tiny ears. She nodded. The tabby walked over and licked her head along with Amberkit's, even though she shook her head.

"Welcome to Rainclan!" The tom and she-cat said proudly.

Sweetkit meet tons of other cats, like Fishleap and Embercloud, Flamepaw and Shadewhisker, and Beetlepaw and Cloudpaw. Amberkit was right beside her when they met cats. It was fun but soon her paws began to hurt and she eyes began to drop.

Fierceheart walked out and spotted them, quickly taking them and padding into the nursey and set them down. "Good-night."
