Amberkit pushed Sweetkit over. "Come on, come on, come on!" She whispered. Sweetkit stood quietly and looked at Amberkit. "What?" She whispered. "Just come on!" She meowed and bounded down the chair to the floor and streaked into a different room.
Sweetkit poked her head inside. Amberkit was standing at one of the windows. Sweetkit climbed up beside and peeked outside.
The sky was covered into many blues and purples and pinks. As the watched stars slowly wink out, Amberkit leaped down and stretched out. Sweetkit turned around and leaped beside her.
The sun woke Sweetkit. Amberkit wasn't beside her anymore but her spot was still warm.
Sweetkit padded out of the room and saw Mit and Amberkit playing. Mit hauled Amberkit up onto a chair and climbed up after. Mit was a kind, sweet she-cat and Sweetkit loved her. But I have to leave...
Sweetkit waited for Amberkit to come over before talking about the plan. They were to leave tonight and get out of the twolegplace, then find the clan. "Mit can't know or she will be sad that we are leaving." Sweetkit finished with a flick of her tail.
Amberkit shook her head and looked at her paws. "Sweetkit... I can't leave. I am not a Clan cat, Mit is my mother now." She dropped her gaze to her paws.
Sweetkit stared at her sister. "But you have to come... Fierceheart and Suntail, we were supposed to train together and live side by side." She whimpered. "I can't belive you would throw all that away to be a kittypet." She snarled. "Maybe I was wrong about you. You got me lost by having that stupid plan." Her voice rose into a deep growl. "I don't want to see you ever again." Sweetkit whiped around and bounded across the nest.
