Chapter 4

New POV
Josh's POV:
Yesterday was amazing. We are friends with Sophia and we are meeting today. We are planning on going over at 1:00 in the afternoon. We went out to eat for breakfast before hand. We were all so excited that we get to see her again. I know what you're thinking gang leaders excited to see a girl. I hope she doesn't find out what we do by the time we tell her. See we want to ease her way so it's not like bam, hey were gang leaders of the number one gang in the US. When we finished doing what we had to do for the day, we headed over to her apartment. At was around 1 o'clock when we got there and went to her door. Drew and Zach both wanted to knock and were fighting over it. They decided that they were both going to knock. "Hey guys do you think she will want to go on a date with us?" Hunter asked. We just shrugged, but then the door opened and there she stood. She looked so beautiful. Sophia let us inside and we started talking. I could tell there was something that she was worried about, but before I capfuls even asked her we heard a cry. She told us she will be right back. All of a sudden the cries got harder until the they calmed down." Dude we didn't know she had a kid. It would've been in her file." Zach said. Drew looked pissed that he didn't know. Hunter was fine with it just surprised that she did. It was about 5 minuets later she walked out with 2 girls on her waist. They were holding on tightly hoping she won't leave. At least she got them back to sleep. When she saw the look on our faces she started talking "Hey this is not what it looks like." "Ok. Tells us what it is." Drew said to her. She continued away "Look I found them beaten up from boys. I saved them. They are injured but I've taken care of them. I'm planning on adopting them they are 7 years old,but don't even know what parents are. So, I'm going to adopt them and be their mom." She said to us sternly. Damn she would make a great mom to them. It looked like they were about to wake up and Sophia noticed. She walked over to the couch a placed them down. When they woke up Sophia introduced us to them. Their names are Emily and Megan. Drew seemed to have calmed down after she had explained what had happened. Emily told Sophia that they were hungry, but knowing Sophia she already knew that. She walked to Emily and whispered something in her ears. She looked up at Sophia all excited she walked up to us and asked "CAN YOU PLEASE TAKE US OUT TO EAT." Damn she even said it in that voice that is hard to tell no to. When we said yes they jumped on us. We did not expect that. All three of them went I get dressed. "She'll be a great mother to them." Hunter said. We all agreed on that. She's so sweet if you don't get on her bad side. I think I'm falling in love with her. I've never felt this way with anyone before. I don't know if I should tell the guys yet. When they walked out they were so fucking adorable. She was smoking hot though. Emily and Megan kinda match. Sophia said that we should go and get food and that the girls don't do well when they have to wait long for food. We hurried up after she said that. We don't want to deal with cranky girls. Hunter was driving and decided to take us to a restaurant our friends owned. Drew noticed Sophia looking at all of the people and without realizing it they were afraid. I turned to Zach and said,"This can't keep going on she's going to get suspicious about it." "I know, but how are we supposed to make it not happen. We intimidate people." He retorted. I know he's right but I don't like it. When we got our food they brought it out quick. I saw people giving Sophia and the girls dirty looks. I think the others noticed too. All of us were just about done, we were just waiting on the kids. I wasn't paying attention to who said it but one of my brothers asked what she was going to do with the girls. I mumbled annoyed,"She told us what she was going to do back at the apartment. She's going to adopt them." I'm just so glad nobody heard me. "I'm planning on adopting them and becoming their mom." She said simply. We paid and went home. After we dropped to girls back at their place. I had to plan a drop with one of my regulars. Walking down the halls of the house I heard two of my gang members talking, so I stopped and listened. "What do you think of that girl their seeing?" " I don't know I mean I've seen her around, but she seem familiar to me. I don't know how though." "Maybe you fucked her. I mean you've been with so many girls maybe you don't remember." When I heard this I got pissed." No, I've never fucked her and I wouldn't have ever. She is the guys' girl. I'm not like that. She is theirs not any of ours. So shut up about it. You don't want any of them hearing you talk about her like that." I agree,but to late I've heard it. I just walked out in the middle of the conversation. They were shocked and scared. They were some of my oldest friends, Griffin and Andrew. Griffin was talking about Sophia like that and Andrew was telling him off. " Griffin, Andrew. What are you guys talking about?" Griffin was the first to answer,"Nothing boss." Andrew looked at him confused and was going to say something when Griffin turned to him saying,"Nothing right." He muttered a yeah. Griffin walked away and Andrew turned to me and said,"He was talking about your girl, boss. He kept saying that he wants her. I told his she seems familiar to me and he kept saying that I have fucked her. I haven't boss I promise." "I believe you Andrew I heard the conversation,but not the pet of him saying he wants her. I will talk with him and see why he lied to me. You did good Andrew. Your a good soldier, friend,and your a brother to me. Keep up the good work. You will be getting a reward later." I told him "Thank you boss." He said. "Andrew, call me Josh we're family. To me will take care of you and you can address me as my name. It doesn't say boss on my birth certificate." I said while laughing. "Bye Josh." "Bye Andrew." After that conversation I had to talk to Griffin again. Hopefully he tells me the truth and doesn't lie again. Griffin was with my brothers in the training room. "GRIFFIN!" I yelled. That startled all of them. Griffin looked petrified. I think he knew what was coming." Hey Josh, what's going on?" Hunter asked. My brothers looked so confused on what is happening. "Griffin follow me. Now." He followed without hesitation." Hey boss what's going on?" "I don't know how about you tell me what was you conversation really about,Griffin?" "Oh, I'm guessing Andrew talked to you. Ok so I was talking about your girl, Sophia, and how I thought that she was pretty. Andrew said that she looked familiar to him but he couldn't place it. I guessed that maybe he fucked her. We both know he screws a lot of girls. Then he goes off saying that she's not our that she's your and only yours. I'm sorry for lying to you. I was afraid of what you would say." I nodded I understood him we've known each other for a long time and I know I can be intimidating to him. "Hey look Griffin don't do it again. I don't like being lied to. Ok?" "Yes boss." He replied. "Go back to my brothers now. " After that he continued what he's was doing with my brothers. I can't wait until I see the girls again. Maybe I should help the adoption stuff. I know that stuff can take awhile. I'll talk about it to Richard. Richard is going to start on it and just fill out her info so she will have them by the end of the week. By the time I'm done with everything it's midnight. I guess I should go to bed. I get ready for bed. Taking a shower,getting dressed and then heading to my lovely king sized bed. Goodnight y'all
