This is my character Serpent Scale, I haven't drawn her before. She is in the same world as my character Sunset Cloud.
The snake is a Sri Lankan Pit Viper.
I'll make some changes in her final design, but this is pretty good for a rough draft, it is pretty similar to what I've imagined. However, in the final I'd like to make her eyes a little slimmer, more triangular shapes in order to portray she looks in this world, and she will match the snake a little bit more. Also a lot more freckles.
Also how does one draw snakes??
For a little background, in the world I'm creating, snake-cats are the lowest at the social hierarchy since they supposedly are the most dangerous, and she's gonna be a main character.
