I was beyond excited. I couldn't wait for Will to get home from work. I was so happy to tell him the news.
After months of trying we had finally done it. You'd think after 3 years of marriage that I wouldn't get this nervous about telling him something but right now I was literally shaking with nervousness and excitement.
When he finally got home from work and walked in through our apartment door he quickly noticed me sitting on the couch smiling like an idiot.
"What is it baby? Why are you so happy?" He said smiling and laughing slightly and the way I was grinning like an idiot. He loved seeing me happy.
"Come sit beside me" I said. He set his keys down on the kitchen counter then came and sat beside me.
I couldn't keep it to myself anymore so i just blurted it out.
"I'm pregnant." At first he was surprised. Then his mouth slowly spread onto a big grin. He quickly pulled me over onto his lap and into his arms. "I'm so happy, we've been wanting this for so long. We can finally start our own family"
He said into my shoulder as he tightly hugged me.
I liked the way that sounded. Our own family.
