Cut's Misfortune

Chapter 1: The inevitable

29th of March 2017
Two minutes until the shutdown of club penguin.

Cut was not preparing for the moments that were about to come, He had already set up a secure, safe home for him and his wife, Abbey.

The boats had just left for the new island, Leaving the penguins that had stayed on the old island to rot.

Cut and abbey were at the snow forts, Refuribished especially for the shutdown. They were near the clock. There were around 20 other penguins there. Red, Yellow, Blue, Aqua. There were even some ninjas and agents there. They were all saying their goodbyes to one another, Some wished they had went on the boats, Others stuck with their decision.

One minute until the shutdown of club penguin.

Even though cut knew this was probably the last time he would see most of these penguins, He seemed excited for some reason, Excited for the future.

The penguins started to party, Maybe in a protest or maybe in a final goodbye. Soon everyone was dancing, Partying like they had done back in the day. "Goodbye everyone" "Ski ya later!" "Waddle on!" Voices could be heard screaming loudly, This really was time to say goodbye.

The dancing got more intense, It seemed like it was in the nightclub when it was really outside. "Are you okay?" Abbey asks cut, Her tone of voice seems nervous. "Yeah, I am thanks" Cut replies.

Soon it seemed like everyone was having fun, Not knowing why they were there.

The clock turned off, And so did all of the eletric appliances, All of the boats were now out of sight.

Club penguin has shutdown.

The partying came to a sudden halt, Everyone was silent. The inevitable had finally hit them, The island that they had made so many memories on, Had so much fun on, Spent so much time on, Was gone.

All of the penguins looked at each other, Abbey held cut's flipper afraid of what had just happened.

A ninja turned to a epf agent
"You..YOU CAUSED THIS."
He screams

The ninja tackles the agent and they begin to fight, Soon the agent was strangling the ninja, It was a horrific sight to see.

The agent stands up, The ninjas eyes are bloodshot, His body is now lifeless, And this just answered a question for the other penguins.

They could kill.

The penguins look at each other, They looked like they were going to massacre one another. Cut and abbey slowly sidestepped towards the exit of the snow forts, They know what's going to happen.

It seems like nearly all of the penguins forgot what they were doing a couple of minutes ago. Partying and having fun. Soon the penguins all started to attack each other, Something which had just been a place of fun and games is now a dangerous war zone, A very dangerous place to be in.

Snowballs whizzed past cut and abbey as they ran to the exit and into the plaza. They were horrified at what they has just saw but they kept on running.

"Fuck, Fuck, Fuck."
Cut kept on saying, Soon him and abbey were running to the cove, To their new home. As they were running they realised what they had gotten into.

This is the new world.
