Nates POV

After everything that happen I could say that this was the worst moment in my life. Seeing Y/N lifeless, laying on the hospital table. They are the light of my life and now... it's just to much to deal with. If Y/N had actually died I wouldn't know what to do with myself. The only thing that gave signs of life was the heart monitors steady beeping. When Jason (the guards name which was comforting knowing) and I first got to the hospital we asked for more security than normal. Of course we did this after Y/N was rushed to their room. We started filing a police report and god damnit, it was one of the most time consuming report I have ever done in my life. That's saying something too, because I once did a report of all of Shakespeare's writing and how they're connected. I was still tired but I refused to sleep knowing that
Y/N would wake sometime soon. I needed to be awake and alert in case an attack happened, or something along the lines of that nature. Jason look over at me with a small smile.
"You could go to sleep you know that right? I'll look out for you two I won't let anything happen." I look up at Jason gratefully. I chuckle softly, "Thanks i appreciate that but I'm so concerned for her that I doubt I could fall asleep." He looked at me sadly nodding in agreement. He shifted his body in his chair that way he could face me. "You know this isn't the first time something like this has happened. Around two years ago my girlfriend was attack by your very ex. They used to be friends until my girlfriend and i started dating. She ended up where your girl is." "What happened to her?" I asked softly as if not to break him. My heart felt a pain as he gave his answer in a choked voice. "She's been in coma for the past two years and her family is tired of waiting for her to wake up." He wiped away the tears that were forming in eyes. He gave a light smile," I won't let that happen to Y/N though okay. She's like a sister to me."
