A/N there are some characters in the story that I'm not sure if they will be brought up a lot in the future i don't have plans for it but if they are then ill do an updated character list

lilly and i are basically screaming at the top of our lungs in the car on our way to school. and i wonder why i always lose my voice. we finally get out of the car after an intense screaming session to the fresh prince of bel air be will smith which is my absolute favorite song on the planet
we grab our bags and hop out of the car. lilly spots some of our friends
"sooooo taylor what are you gonna do for your birthday?" our friend mckenna asks wiggling her eyebrows
"im not sure yet i think i might visit my cousins in California, we've always been super close he's basically like the older brother i never had" i say with a shrug
" taylor what are you talking about you have an older brother his name is travis remember" alex says laughing and with a slight 'duh' tone
"yes i know alex but joshua and i have always been closer than travis and i he's always been there for me through everything" i let out a small sigh with a little hint of disappointment
shit! look at the time i gotta go ill catch up with y'all after school meet me by my car!" shout as i make my way to class. you might be thinking whydont you hang out with your friends during school, well i not have any classes with them and i have early release so i leave early but go back to ge them after school.
-after school-
" TAY TAY"of course i turn around and its the one and only lilly she screams my nickname that I've had for as long as i can remember
"lils chill your so embarrassing" alex says as he covered his eyes like he doesn't know her.
" just get in the jeep hhuuuuhhhh" i say trying to imitate uncle jesse from full house.
" ok ok jeeze" alex says while they throw their hands up surrendering
we all pile in the car and start blasting my hype playlist which mainly consists of Bryson tiller. once we get back to my house alex and lilly are acting really weird so i decided to say something.
" ok guys what's up with y'all. you're being all weird and really suspicious and shit"
" oh it nothing" lily said " nothing at all" and to add to every thing alex finished her sentence. "we just have a surprise for you" the say at the EXACT same time, needless say I'm officially weirded out
" ok what's my surprise" i ask very cautiously. " I'm not gonna tell you I'm just gonna say that its waiting for you up in your room" lilly states
i run as fast as i can up my stairs and of course i trip a few times. i stop in front of my door and slowly open it
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH, OH MY FREEKING GOODNESS GRACIOUS YOUR HERE" i scream at the top of my lungs once i see my favorite person in the entire world in my room
