Chapter Two

"Do you fucking want something or are you just gonna stare into my damn eyes?!"

He chuckled again and had this smirk on his face that made me even more mad. He leaned down in my ear and whispered "I want you."

I laughed. It started off as a light chuckle and then it transformed into something more.

"Oh shit! My stomach. My stomach!" I cackled with tears rolling down my face. Sweet Pea, Fogarty, and Toni came to my side. I had to hold on to Pea for support. I think I might piss my pants. 

"Sweets. Walk me back to the table. You won't believe the shit I just heard."

Sweet Pea furrowed his brow, but led me back to our table. After I finally calmed down, I was able to relay the message.

"This dipshit came up to me and said 'I want you'. Bro! And I want a million dollars, but yet here the fuck I am!" The serpents all laughed. I looked behind me to see him with this little bitch smirk on his face.

Lunch was over and I only had 2 classes left for the day. I walked into my math class and almost raged. There he was again. I walked up to the teacher just to inform her that I was the new student. She smiled and told me I could take any one of the available seats. I nodded my head and sat in the seat closest to the board. 

"You came on a great day Sin. I've decided that since some students understand the lessons and others don't, I am going to assign partners to everyone."

I shut my eyes and took deep breaths because I already saw where this was headed.

"That's fine and all, but can you just not partner me with him?"

She looked at the guy I was pointing at and scrunched her face in confusion.

"Reggie? Well, why not?"

"Because I've been here for all of 4 hours and I already hate him. I am begging you."

She thought for a moment and said "Fine... But you owe me."

I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding and relaxed a little.

"Before I can partner you up though, I am going to give you a test. And before you guys start complaining, you won't be getting a grade on it, but I do want you to try your hardest. This will just help me figure out who should be partners in this class based on their knowledge and what topics I should focus on. Hopefully, this will help you excel in my class."

She passed out the tests. I looked over everything and knew a majority of it. The stuff I didn't know, I just used equations that made the most sense for the problem. Long story short, I think I did a pretty decent job. She gave us the whole hour to work on this, but I only needed 35 minutes. I started to make sketches in my art journal. It's a girl with crazy curly hair sitting on a swing by herself and a guy with no face reaching his hand out to her. I can never draw male faces. It's not because I can't, but because I'm not interested in anyone at the moment so I don't have a face to draw.

                                                                                                                            I kept sketching characters until class was over. When the bell rang, I stayed behind to check my schedule. English. I'm great at English. I followed the numbers on the classrooms all the way to my English class. 

When I walked in, I was happy to see some other serpents. They waved me over and we all sat in a group. Class was boring, but we serpents made the best of it. The teacher passed out an assessment test and I was already beginning to notice a trend. Today was going to be filled with tests. Oh goody. 

My last two classes, art and gym, went by smoothly. After gym class was over, I showered and met Sweet Pea out front. The Serpents decided to hang out at the Whyte Wyrm. We had some drinks, ate some snacks, played some pool and generally acted like a bunch of knuckleheads. It was a great end to our day.

Wait a minute... Who the hell is that walking through the door.

Reggie's POV

I've never been this worked up over a girl before, but this chick just does something to me. I invited Andrews to help me check her out a bit more and this dumb ass decides to just walk into their bar. 

'This guy is gonna get us killed ' I thought to myself.

I stayed behind because I did not want her to think that I was following her, even though that's exactly what I was doing. Andrews walked in and made his presence well-known with his Riverdale Letterman jacket.

"Hey guys. Have you seen Jughead?" I heard him say. Then I see the girl walk up to him with a confused look on her face and then she leads him inside. 

'I should probably learn her name' I think to myself.

I wait outside for 10 minutes. Then 30 minutes. Finally, after 45 minutes, I gain the courage to go into the bar. I walk in and all eyes are on me. I was about to just walk back out, but then I hear someone call my name. I turn to see Andrews and it is taking everything in me not to punch his lights out right now. I walk over to him and say "Dude, I'm about to head out. Do you need a ride home?" I give him a look that says 'You don't have much of a choice right now.' Archie opens his mouth to put words together, but nothing but air comes out. I nod my head and he nods along with me. Good. We're on the same page. Archie waves goodbye to Jughead and out of the corner of my eye, I see that girl looking at me. I was about to smirk in victory, but then her face turned to one of disgust and she rolled her eyes. I don't understand this girl. How could she not like me? All the girls love me. Me and Archie walked out to my car. As soon as we got in, I punched him in his arm.

"What the hell was that for?"

"For making me wait AND for making me have to go in there."

After I dropped Andrews off at his place, I drove home. When I walked through the door, it was quiet so I knew my folks weren't home. I went in the kitchen to find some menus. I chose a pizza place and placed an order for a large Chicken-Bacon-Ranch Pizza with extra jalapenos and garlic butter on the crust. (A/N: My favorite pizza atm)

I went upstairs to my room and waited for Hulu to load while I waited for the pizza. I put Regular Show on and zoned out. Why doesn't that chick like me? Am I ugly? Do I have B.O.? Is it my breath? I just don't get it. The doorbell rang. I opened it, paid for my pizza, and went back to my room. I thanked God tomorrow was Friday and watched Regular Show until I passed out.

The next morning, at 4 AM, I decided to go for a jog before school. I threw on a pair of basketball shorts and a muscle tank. I put my wireless headphones in and left the house. I had been jogging for about 10 minutes when I stopped seeing houses. Once I started seeing trailers, I knew I was on the Southside. I was about to start jogging back to the Northside when I heard a car pulling up. I ran behind a trailer because I didn't want any Serpents to find me on their territory. The car happened to pull up to the trailer I was hiding behind. Just my damn luck. I watched the guy walk up to his front door. The man stopped. He walked away and disappeared on the other side of the trailer. I was debating whether or not I should make a run for it. All of a sudden, a hand grabs my shoulder and slams me against the trailer. Before I could process what was happening, a punch to the face knocked me out. 

Looks like I'm gonna be late for school.
