I could feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up straight just looking at the picture- or was it a painting? Either way emotions ran through me, some I couldn't recognize- I was discovering new emotions the longer I gazed at it.

Alerted when I heard something crash far, far down. I spun around quickly, forgetting about how narrow the staircase down had been. The amount of force I put in the fast turn had worked against me- I felt my foot slip off the edge of the staircase.

I felt time around me slow as my body had finally given into the pressure of the world. The pressure became heavier and heavier, pushing my body down and finally allowing it to completely fall off the stairs.

Quick thinking; something I was relatively good at was going to come in handy at this point. Years and years of training would help me with the situation. I need to somehow move quick enough to the point where I would see feel as if I was in slow motion.

I kept falling and falling- this had almost reminded me of the songs from earlier. Falling deeper and deeper into the rabbit whole as I sunk through it. As I was falling I kept looking around, seeing nothing useful to me at all.

The stairs kept going and going but nothing was different. The same faces, the same X's and O's on those faces. There was nothing I could possibly do at this point- the only thing was to pray something was going to stop my fall when I crash down.

I wish I had a watch right about now, the cliche moment when I look down at it to see how long I've been falling. Seriously is there going to be someone falling next to me holding tea asking me to join them?

Finally I had taken a chance to glance down at the floor, seeing there had actually been- what looked like a sort of bed there. My body slammed into it, no doubt breaking something from the impact of the high fall.

"F-Fuck..."

I muttered pulling myself up, it ended up taking a few tries from the pain growing more and more intense on my back. My elbows were my support as I looked in front of me, seeing nothing but a dark wall.
