i wrote this book as a birthday gift for mi boi geemin for all the suffering he has put me through :) nah jk thank you so much for being alive and for giving meaning to my existence 💕 your sacrifices and hard work have given me inspiration to do the things that i wanted to do. you have been a great role model and i must say, a gr8 dadd—
ok moving on let me explain the plot of the story:
— NATALIA IS A NINE YEAR OLD WHO HAS BEEN SENT TO A MENTAL HOSPITAL BY HER PARENTS. due to her odd behaviour, (ik it's not specific ok) and her unusual hobby of writing letters to someone who doesn't exist, her parents have decided to bring her to a mental hospital without putting the issue much thought. her latest imaginary friend, jimin (who is not imaginary irl bc damn, that booty isnt) has been her companion for the months she has spent in the hospital.
— THE MENTAL HOSPITAL HAS BEEN POISONING THE DERANGED CHILDREN. the mental hospital's funds have been decreasing, and so they don't have enough money to support the children. instead of sending then back to their parents, the organization decided to eliminate them through poison.
remember when natalia said that she had a stomachache? well, that was the start of the said poisoning.
remember when the employees were oddly nice to the children when they were preparing for natalia's birthday? they had injected poison in each and every dish that was prepared for the event.
and remember when natalia said that she was going to see the moon and the stars on the night of her birthday? she died under the silver shade of the moonlight due to the poison which is now practically in every part of her body. the other children passed away on that night too.
after a few years after the death of the children, the hospital shut down, and that is where jimin and his friends celebrated his birthday 23 years later.
— THE DAY WHEN NATALIA PASSED AWAY IS THE DAY JIMIN WAS BORN. yeah this is self-explanatory.
— THERE IS A HIDDEN MESSAGE IN EACH LETTER. did you notice the italic words? in each chapter, there is one specific word that is written in italic. if we combine these words and form them into a sentence, this will become it's output:
chp.1: i chp.2: want chp.3: to chp.4: have chp.5: you chp.6: but chp.7: i chp.8: cant chp.9: i chp.10: wish chp.11: you chp.12: were chp.13: real
as we can see, she is aware that jimin doesn't exist, so she made jimin so that she would have a companion during her lonely days spent in the mental hospital :)
