It's the day, Garfieild's favorite day, it's literally any day except for Monday. Garfieild stands up and stretches, not like a cat, but like a person, like he does in the comics. Garfield walks into the kitchen and looks through the fridge for anything resembling what he deems "food" as this luxurious feline won't just eat anything, no. He wants lasagna, but there is none. He then let's his eyes wander to the calendar, no, there's no way. December 14, it's a Monday.
How didn't he know, this is horrifying, just yesterday it was, wait, it was Sunday, what day did he think it was? Presumably any day but Monday. Garfield let's a bloodcurdling screech escape his lungs as   the physical embodiment of reality untangles before him, and with a wave of his paw he eviscerates gravity, the universe and all living creatures aside from himself, John and Odie.  "John" says the once mute feline, and his voice is overpowering. "You worthless mortal! Why must you do this"
"G-Garfield what do you mean? What happened to you? What happened to everything? Garfield what have you done?"
"Enough John, I've done enough. As have you, why didn't you tell me John?"
"Tell you what Garfieild?"
"Why didn't you tell me it was Monday?"
"What do you mean? You're a cat!"
Garfield allows a platform to appear, he stands on it with John, at this point Odie is forgotten in the abyssal nothing. "Can't you see John?" Garfield's voice raises, although his lips move not even the smallest measurement "I'm much more than a cat!" John at this point is filled with terror, he cannot move, not that he would, he doesn't know what would happen if he steps off this platform "Garfield just make everything normal again, please"
"I'm afraid I'm far past that John" Garfield walks and stands toe to toe with John "I can't return to the mundane, three panel life anymore"
"Three panels? What are you talking about?"
"You wouldn't understand" Garfield says, as mountains of lasagna build around them "And I'm afraid you never will" he says, as What was once John crumples to dust.
