Calling the Shots

Chapter 10

Toronto had a tough loss 3-2 but Tyler had scored a goal which made moms night. She was buzzing by the end of the night and dad ended up taking her home right after the game.

"Want to wait around for Tyler?" I asked the twins "or do you both work early?"

They shrugged "Sleep is for the weak 'son"

"Yeah, let's wait for Ty because then we can check out the other guys up close" Jayden grinned

I laughed "lead the way, creeps"

It was similar to waiting for Kevin. It took about an hour before any players started emerging from the change rooms and some of them even greeted the twins which made me raise my eyebrows at them.

"How do you know these guys?" I asked them

"We invited ourselves over to Ty's condo one night when we knew he had some of the players over and bingo we are now on first name basis with them" Peyton grinned while Jayden nodded

"Brilliant" I laughed

"What's brilliant?"

Tyler was standing behind me dressed in a well fitted suit and a Toronto scarf casually around his neck.

"Tacky scarf, Ty" Peyton said greeting him

"Is that how you let girls know you're a leafs player?" Jayden roasted "worried they won't recognize you? So you need the scarf?"

"Hey Ty" I grinned hugging him "great goal"

"How are you?" He asked ignoring the twins and leading me outside

"I'm great! Happy to be home for a bit!"

"I know we lost but do you want to go grab a drink somewhere?" Ty asked me

"Sure!"

"Oh yeah we'd love too. Thanks for the inv" Peyton said sarcastically

"I wasn't asking you two shit disturbers" Ty said rolling his eyes at them "but you can come"

"We love you Ty" Jay grinned

"And your scarf too" Peyton teased

He groaned

"Can they though?" I questioned "they are underage"

"Yeah but I know for a fact they have fake IDs"

I rounded on the twins "What!"

They glared at Ty.

"Traitor" Peyton muttered

"Someone at our school got them for us. It's no big deal"

"Look, I truly don't care if you guys have one. I had one. But when I hear things in the leafs dressing room that I am 100% sure are about my 17 year old sisters from the players, that's when I have a problem" he glared at them

"We were just out at a bar and we happened to see Matthews and Marner and some other guys and we just hung out" Peyton said shrugging

"Nothing happened" Jayden defended "and they are only 21"

I sighed and looked at Ty who shrugged.

"Just don't do anything stupid with them or I'll take them away" Ty threatened

"Who the boys or the IDs?" Jayden joked earning a glare from Ty

"And be safe, you know condoms too" I added and I saw Tyler wince.

"Ugh. Why don't I have brothers! Okay let's go for a drink"

We ended up at a bar that Tyler said is where they commonly go after games.
