Irene took a deep sigh before taking a step. She was caught off guard by Taehyung's sudden message. He promised he'll leave her alone after this. After they talk. But her heart tightened when she read that after this talk, he'll leave her alone.

Is she affected?

Yes, she is.

And there, his figure was seen. He was always looking so handsome in anyway, in anything.

Irene squeezed her purse. She's nervous and she has no idea why.

Han River was the place where they share their moments together. From the beginning where they first met. The middle, where all the misunderstandings and argues happened. And lastly, the end. Where they broke up.

It's so hard for her.

"Irene..." Taehyung breaths.

"Get to the point. Why and what am I here for?" She said. Crossing her arms on her chest.

"Talk. I dont want misunderstandings between us."

"Remember this Tae. There was never an 'us'." Irene sarcastically said.

"Please hear me out." He took a deep breath. "I'm sorry."

Irene didn't budged.. or moved. Not even looking at him.

"Look Irene. It was hard for me too. I had to do it. I thought... breaking up with you would be the best things so that we both could not feel pain."

"But did we not feel pain? I was in hell Tae." Irene scoffs.

"I know and I regret. Everything."

"Dont be. You did those on purpose. Including you cheating behind my back with my bestfriend!"

"Irene I'm a guy I have my needs too." He said in a serious tone.

And suddenly most hurtful thing happened to her flashbacked.

||

Irene dropped herself on the floor, seeing how badly Tae looks. He was drunked. The pile of papers in the table, foods are messed everywhere and everything is just ruined.

She was a trainee and Tae was auditioning as an idol that time. Despite the hardships they still managed to be together.

She wiped her tears. Its always like this. He gets drunk and she cleans it.

Taehyung felt Irene stiff movements and it made him awake. She was clenaing his mess.

He backhugged her. "I'm sorry." He mumbles.

"It's fine." She tries her best not to let another tear out.

But it didn't stop there. It was always like that. She managed to take care of Taehyung while she's busy being a trainee.

It was again midnight when she came home.

The house where they both promised no one will leave.

The lights weren't working. The water is out too. She was hopeless. She saw Taehyung walk up to her and sat beside her.

"Happy Birthday." He said.

She sniffs. Ignoring Taehyung.

"Hey is something wrong?"
"Irene answer me."
"Tell me what's wrong!"
"Are you mad at me?"
"Curse at me if you are! Hit me.. do anything to me."

Again she stayed quiet. Just letting her tears flow.

"Are you tired?" Taehyung ask.

"Yes! I'm very very very very tired of you.!"

"I'm tried of cleaning your mess. I'm tired of practicing. I'm tired of working. I'm tired of paying the bills alone! While you? Your enjoying your life chasing for your passion! Damn that passion!" Irene cursed.

Taehyung looks down. Tears streaming on his face.

"Did you know how I always feel Tae? I always feel I'm the one making this relationship strong. While you? Your enjoying yourself! Sometimes I always wish that. When I woke up the Taehyung I love would come back." Irene sobbed.

"I cant take this anymore Tae."

"If I leave would things be easy?" He ask and she nodded.

"Do you want me to leave Irene?" Taehyung ask.

She facepalmed. Not knowing what to answer.

As she glance up. Taehyung was nowhere to be found.

And that was their ending.

||

Honestly Irene couldn't look straight into his eyes or even talk to him.

They are now in a café. Taehyung wants to talk to her sincerely and personally.

"You never changed." He compliments. "How are you?"

"I was fine when were together. But look at me now, I look a million times better." A smirk plastered on her lips.

A silence.

Taehyung suddenly holds her hands. Causing her to jump.

"I'm sorry for everything."

"It's fine." That's what she always say.

"I love you." He mumbles.

"I know you dont and you never."

And the truth was.. Jennie wasn't the reason why they broke up. It was their own problem.
