Chapter 2 : Take Off

I said goodbyes to my father as he left for London. He took Seokjin, his personal bodyguard to company him.

And now...I'm here alone in the middle of the room, looking around the mansion.

I have never seen all the details actually. It was a two story, white house that had 6 unnecessary bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. All tiles covered with marbles, white and craved walls. High ceilings and a giant lamp hanging in the middle of the living room.

The house looks so big and creepy because it feels like nobody is living here.

Doors and gates secured with passcode and high-tech facilities. Outside in the yard, the thing I love is there is so many green trees everywhere. It makes my mind calm. I enjoy nature very much.

Walking back inside the house, the maid has prepared for dinner. Nanaa started serving dishes to the table.

"Um... Nanaa? Can you accompany me eating dinner for tonight?" I asked to Nanaa. I don't feel eating alone, usually dad and I would chat together while having dinner.

"Sure, anything for you Ms. Choi" Nanaa answered. And I smiled at her.

After dinner, I wander around the living room. Turned on the wide sized TV that is placed on top of the fireplace, just to company me with the sound of it. There weren't any interesting channels to watch, so I open my Instagram and looked at my friends posts.

Suddenly my phone started ringing and the ID showed up, Mina.

"Hey Mina! What's up?"

"Yerin-ah, guess what! V just asked me to be his girlfriend!" She said excited.

"Wait wait, who- uhh which V are you talking about??" I asked

"That V, that Kim Taehyung, the one I always tell you about the boy I liked. Sorry that I didn't mention his name that time." She answered.

Ohh Kim Taehyung... sounds familiar, like I heard that name one time from someone, but I don't remember.

Mina then talked about everything what happened and about his newly boyfriend.
By the way how Mina talks about the name Taehyung, he seems like a very nice man. I hope he makes Mina happy.

I suddenly was surprised when she mentioned my ex-boyfriend, but immediately cut it out.

Mina is a very talkative woman, but sometimes she go over the other things. It's very normal of her, so I don't get mad easier either.

After the conversation that took 1 hour of Mina speaking and telling stories through my phone, I didn't realize it's already too late at night.
At least I'm free tomorrow, no school. Because I already have the schedule for my classes.

After going to my room, brushed my teeth and washed my face, applied some night skincare for my face. I then lied on my comfy bed.

I remembered what Mina mentioned.
Yerin-ah, I know that you're single right now, why don't you take some chances to get a new boyfriend and move on from your ex?

Move on..

She's right.
It's been 3 years.
