Emerson's POV-

"Oh my god!! Emerson you look flawless!!" Rylie exclaimed when I walked out of the bathroom in the dress she was letting me borrow.

"Oh, thanks..." I thank, unsure of it. I mean, it looked good, but I felt so...exposed...

"NOW IT'S TIME FOR HAIR AND MAKEUP!!" She yells excitedly. She sits me down in a chair and starts to play with my wavy blonde hair. She start pinning up my hair and starts to straighten my hair. It takes a little while, but once she's done, it looks amazing.

"MAKEUP TIME YAS! Ok, so are you going for sexy, natural, smokey, I don't really care, I just wanna do it." She asks, pulling out her makeup.

"Natural. Please."

"Oh my god, you're so boring." She groans as she pulls out light browns, tans and, whites. She puts on the concealer and foundation I brought, making a base. She lightly brushes eyeshadow on, then adds eyeliner. She adds mascara and blush. Finally she puts a light lipstick on and a coat of lipgloss.

I look up and see myself in the mirror. She did an amazing job. I actually look pretty decent. Rylie was already all ready. We were set to go.

"Wait, how are we getting there?" I ask her, suddenly aware of the fact that we have no transportation to and fro.

"Maghan's friend is driving us." She reassured me. I nodded and she led me out of our dorm room and down the hallway and out of the building where a car was waiting for us.

We jumped in and I put my seatbelt on.

"So, you two excited about your first college party?" The girl in the driver's seat asks.

"Well, yeah. But if Zack catches me I'm dead." I answer.

"Oh, I wouldn't worry about him catching you, he'll be drunk out off his mind and won't even know who you are." The girl reassures me. "I'm Alyssa, by the way."

"I'm Emerson, nice to meet you." I tell her. She smiles and pulls out off the parking lot. It takes 10 short minutes to get to the frat house. Cars were already lined up and down the street. I mentally groan as I hear the loud music from inside the house. Rylie and I hop out of the car and walk to the front door. As soon as we walk in I see Zack laying down on a table and Amanda taking body shots off of him. That was a sight I could defiantly afford not seeing in my life.

"Can we go now?" I ask. I try to turn around but Rylie grabs me by the arm and spins me back around.

"Oh no. This is just the beginning. Besides, we haven't even found Matt yet, and your boobs look amazing in that dress." I slap her shoulder and she pulls me by the arm into what I guess is supposed to be a living room, except right now, the only thing happening is a bunch of hormonal teenagers making out.

The music was loud, and I could smell the sweat and alcohol radiating around the room. I spotted one of Zack's frat friends across the room. He must have seen me too because he started walking over to me, but before he could get to me, some blond chick pulled him by the collar and started making out with him.

"Austin!!" Rylie yelled, and ran off to go talk to some guy. Great, now I'm alone. Now what do I do. I decided to walk around a bit. Get a feel for this house. Which was surprisingly large. I saw more alcohol in five minutes than I have my entire life. It was everywhere.

I spotted Rylie with the guy she had just said hi to. They were sucking each other's faces off.

I soon saw Matt on his phone. He was leaning against the wall, and occasionally looking up and laughing at the people drunk out of their mind. He was wearing a blue tie-dye shirt with black sleeves. He saw me and waved, and motioned for me to come over to him. I walked over to him.

"Wow! You look great!" He told me, putting his arm around me. I noticed there was no lingering smell of alcohol in his breath, or anywhere on him for that matter.

"You don't smell like beer.'' I tell him nonchalantly. He laughs a little.

"Yeah. I'm not a huge fan of alcohol." He explains.

"Really? Me neither!" I tell him. I've always hated alcohol, it just never tasted good to me.

"Yeah, well, it probably wasn't the best idea joining a frat. Drinking is basically all we do." He tells me, laughing. I nod and smile. He's so cute. The way his nose scrunches up when he laughs. And the two freckles right above and below each other on his cheek. I was zoned out and it took me second to realize he had just said something else.

"Wait, what?" I ask, coming back to Earth. He laughed and shook his head a little.

"I said, do you want to go to the kitchen and I can make us something to eat and drink?" He tells me.

"Yeah. Sure. I'd love too."

"Okay, lets go." He grabs my hand and swerves through the crowd of drunk college kids and into a closed off kitchen.

We walk through the door. It was like a whole different room. The door even had a lock.

"A lock?" I ask, curious.

"Yeahhhh. Some of the boys wanted to get a lock in case, you know, they wanted to get down and dirty with their girl." He told me, gesturing to the table with a grossed out expression on his face.

I felt my face scrunch up.

"Ew. Oh my god, are you serious?" I ask him. He nods slowly, obviously grossed out about it too. He was cute.

"Yeah. I try not to think about it when I eat in here. But the good thing about it is I can lock myself in here when they're being annoying or when they have to many people over." He tells me, laughing. "So, do you want, like...a milkshake or something?"

"Sure. I'm down for anything." I tell him as he pulls a blender out. He walks over and grabs chocolate ice-cream from the freezer.

"Is chocolate ok?" He asks.

"Is that even a question?" I joke and he smiles, scooping some into the blender and then adding milk. He presses the button to blend it and I scrunch my nose up because of the noise.

He laughs at what Zack calls my "bunny face" and grabs two glasses out of the cabinet, and then pours us both a milkshake. He jumps up to sit on the counter and motions for me to do the same.

I jump up next to him and he hands me a glass.

"Frat parties are overrated." He sighs.

Matt's POV-

"Frat parties are overrated." I admit. I didn't really see the big deal about them.

She just just looks over at me and scoffs.

"Matt, you are a frat. Why would you join a frat if you don't like beer, and don't like parties." She asks, obviously confused.

"Well, a bunch of my friends were, so I decided, why the hell not?" I explain. She just exhales and shakes her head a little, grinning.

She looks nothing like Zack. While Zack is tall and broud, she is short and petite. He also has dark brown hair and she has blonde. He has brown eyes, she has blue.

She's gorgeous, but I can't say that. She's my best friends little sister.

This might be a little harder than I imagined.
