Emma POV
I had spent the last three days trying to get Niall out of my head it was obvious he would never like me the way I liked him. I should give up and move on. Sighing I continued reading the work one of my students had turned in. Yeah I am school teacher. Everyone nearly freaked when they heard I was friends with One Direction, but then Harrys' sister started working here and everyone forgot about me. Anyway the assignment was to write down you're dreams not any dream particular but something you want bad. This paper really captivated me. Tina, the student, had wrote about how she dreamed that she could've known what her parents were like. How she wished sometimes that they had kept her and not gave her away. I was in tears at the detail she had put into the story. I heard a knock on the door and looked up to see Gemma staring at me.
"Hey girly," She greeted walking over and taking a seat on my desk.
"Hey," I mumbled adjusting my clothes and wiping my face.
"Must be a real good story if you're crying like that."
"Yeah," I whispered giving Tina a A+ and moved on.
"Guess what I heard about a certain someone who works here," She teased on a sing song voice.
"What did you here about me?"
"Why do you always assume it's you?"
"So who is about then?"
"You. That isn't the point. The point is you shouldn't assume everything is about you. It makes you come off as self centered."
"How is it self centered when I know that you were talking about me?"
"Forget it. Can I tell you what I heard or not?"
"Fine go ahead," I put the papers down on the desk and gave her my full attention.
"Okay, I heard that you missy are dating Niall. There are pictures of you guys being all lovey dovey and I saw the video where he dragged you away in mid-speech," She giggled. I sighed and out on the best fake smile I could manage. The last person I wanted to talk about was Niall.
"Don't you have classes to teach? How do you manage to keep your class in lone, grade papers, and keep up with all the current gossip? I can barely grade five papers without feeling like sleeping." She smirked and wagged her finger at me.
"A magician never tells,"Sh egot up and made her way out of the classroom.
"This has nothing to do with magic. I sswear sometimes I don't know who was dropped more on their head more...you or your brother," I shouted after her. I could hear her laughing even though I was pretty sure she was in her classroom now.
"Definiatly Harry. I mean remeber the 'Talk Dirty To Me Video' they made and released on 1D day?"
"Yeah, where Harry used a imaginary flute instead of trumpet. Hahah yeah I agree," I began packing my bags getting ready to leave. This is what me and her do at the end of every school day, we shout at each other as we get ready to leave. I smiled as I made sure everything was closed, put away, and locked before making my out the classroom. I turned and locked the door just to turn back and see Gemma standing over me with some weird facial expression that I am guessing was suppose to be funny. Instead it made me wonder about her even more.
"I am thinking about taking the crown, for being dropped on the head too many times. and giving it to you," I teased locking my arms in hers. As we walked down the hallway teachers rolled their eyes at us and even scoffed. We were the youngest teachers at the school and both blond so naturally everyone thought we were stupid. In our opinion we were the best teachers in this damn thing.
