The Missing Lady

Chapter-9

In the Imperial Palace

The Queen Zhi Rou was kneeling in front of the king My Fan begging him to help her find the person who hurted her brother last night in the Black Rose Brothel. She knew that the King will grant her request. Her brother has helped her so many times that is why She the Queen of a Kingdom was kneeling on the ground because her brother did  hold some power in the court as an official so she can't bear to lose his trust otherwise she wouldn't have paid attention to him.

The king was distressed as he has already sent his people for investigation but he found nothing about the man who chased his brother in law. As if that man never existed. He was angry as this was the first time that someone was able to escapw him. He looked downwards at his queen who was 30 years old but still knew how to maintain herself. He only married her because of her strong backing and she was the one who helped in claiming the throne and removing the thorns from his path.

He then ordered his queen's maid to help his queen up and then he said

"My Queen,no need to worry. I will find the culprits behind my brother-in -law's this condition. I havs sent imperial doctors for his treatment. Yo go and rest well."

After listening to him queen bowed down to him and feebly went back to her chamber with her maid.

In Goi Manor

Feng Mian was taking a walk with Wei Wang. Their servants were packing things as they were supposed to go to the western borders to supress the rebillion. Feng Mian also wanted to accompany him so she requested him to let her go with him.

Wei Wang was happy that finally they were making some progress. And Femg Mian was contented as Wei Wang was able to break her walls and now she feels comfortable with him. She thinks that she can rely on him. Now they both practised their martial arts with each other. The guards who saw them always find them a perfect couple for each other.

Feng Mian and Wei Wang's servants were very comfortable with each other. They all also used to practise their martial arts with each other. Feng Mian has also started sending medicines to the Wei Wang's army. She also admitted her some guards in Wei Wang's army as they all are very well versed in military and all the other things . She has personally trained them.

Before leaving their manors both Wei wang and Feng Mian stationed their guards into their properties as they can't trust the king.

After one week they left for borders. After they went to the borders an information about the missing Ying Yue who was the abandoned daughter form the Ye manor and the twin sister of the present empress came to its full force. The information about her disappearance before the coronation of Present king as their were some evidences which pointed towards the empress and the empror's hand in her disappearance. The more the king tried to supress this information the more it became viral.

The king was nervous and restless as Ying Yue held his dark secrets if those were to be  revealed his reign will be over. But he don't know the source of this information.

In Ye Manor

The master of the Ye manor was pacing back and forth and in front of him his wife the madom of the Ye manor was kneeling and  trembling.

Their favourite son was already crippled and now their unfavoured daughter's information was getting revelaed. Everyone in the Ye manor knows about the dark truth of Ye manor but the know that they did supressed it in the blazing fire but how did it got the wind and now it is strong enough to burn them.
