violet dobrev ; high school life

Two years later

(Aleksandra is moved out and in college and Cassandra is ten years old )

Violet: Cassandra come here please

Cassandra: yes mom

Violet:  did u clean your room

Cassandra: no why

Violet:  watch your mouth young lady

Cassandra: no

Violet: excuse me young lady u don't tell me no

Cassandra:  fine whatever

Violet:  go clean your room or your grounded young lady

Cassandra:   no

Violet:  that's it . You're grounded young lady for a week.  I want u to go clean your room

Cassandra: yes mom . 

(Cassandra goes to her room and Nina comes in )

Nina: u okay vi ?

Violet:  Nina

Nina: yeah

Violet: how did u deal with me ? At this age

Nina: I just grounded u why ?

Violet: that's what I did to Cassandra. Am I a bad mom ?

Nina: no of course not .  Your a great mom .  And vi don't doubt yourself . Plus , I used to ground u when u were ten years old .  It wasn't easy and it killed me inside but I had to do something to discipline u okay

Violet: okay

(A hour later; violet leaves for work ; and it's Nina and Cassandra)

Cassandra: aunt Nina

Nina: yes cas

Cassandra:  can I go to a friends house?

Nina: no Cassandra

Cassandra: why ?

Nina: u know why . U didn't clean your room plus u gave your mom a hard time and you're grounded

Cassandra: I know. I am really sorry auntie

Nina: I know honey. It's your first grounding so we went kinda easy on u

Cassandra: yes auntie.

Nina: good . Go do your homework

Cassandra: but auntie

Nina: would u rather be grounded for another week young lady

Cassandra: no auntie I am sorry

Nina: it's okay honey . Your mom told me that it's not easy punishing u she hates it and so do I ; but u need to learn your lesson

Cassandra: I know aunt Nina I am really sorry

Nina: I know sweetheart. Say do u want me to tell u stories about your mom ; your older sister used to love them

Cassandra: yeah sure I would love too

Nina: good . (Goes to sit on the bed )

Cassandra: when my mom first got in trouble?
