Jessalyn woke up in pain.
Not just in her lower region, but everywhere.
Taehyung had beaten her last night.
She couldn't fight him.
She was too weak.
The door creaked open and a man with a child came in to take care of her.
"Who are you?" She said in a barely audible voice.
"My name in Jin, young mistress. This is my son Jungkook. We've been sent by the prince to take care of you."
Jin saw the bruises on her body.
"I'm so sorry on how he treated you. He is very emotional. He gets angry too easily."
Jin and Jungkook nursed her for a few hours and finally finished.
"There you are young miss. I will be in the kitchen if you need me. Just call for me."
The two left the room.
Jessalyn wanted to escape.
She weakly crawled out of the enormous bed she was forced to share with Taehyung and made herself look presentable.
Afterwards, she grabbed a sack and placed two apples, an extra blanket, and extra clothing inside of it.
She walked slowly out of the room and passed the throne room.
She overheard Taehyung talking inside.
"Sir, She was injured, I couldn't leave her there."
"I ordered you to make sure she didn't escape, not to take care of her! I want her to have fear so that she knows her boundaries."
"Your majesty, I know how you feel about her, but please. Beating her isn't going to make anything better."
"ENOUGH JIN!" Taehyung roared.
Jessalyn became scared and quickly snuck outside.
She ventured out into the night, looking for a hiding spot to be safe from him.

Taehyung excused Jin and went to his room for a nap.
He couldn't wait to see Jessalyn.
He was so desperately in love with her, he wanted to do anything to make her feel happy.
He entered the room.
"Jessalyn, my little one?" He called.
No answer.
He searched the whole palace, and there were no signs of her.
Taehyung was furious.
He called all of his staff into the throne room immediately.
"You IDIOTS let my love ESCAPE?! FIND HER AND BRING HER TO MR BEFORE I HAVE ALL OF YOU DEAD IN AN INSTANT!"
They all zipped out.
But what about Taehyung?
He slumped into his throne and cried.
Because he knew it wasn't their fault.
It was his.
