The sun had risen already when I wake up, and like always, it is silent. I hate it, the silence is the worst thing in this town other than the government. The government was the one who killed my mother and claimed it to be an "accident" but I didn't believe them one bit. I had heard what really happened, I was there.

"Now Leslie you have to wait out here while I go check on your uncle, you know he is to sick to see you."
I nodded my head and she made sure that my jumper was fixed nicely.
"I'll be about ten minuets, okay?"
I nodded my head again and she unlocked the door and stepped inside. I heard her gasp and a thud, like someone hitting the floor.
At that point I ran. I ran as fast as I could and didn't stop until I was safe in my home. I waited for my mum to came back home. She never came home, and I have been alone in this house since then.

Before I left this town for good I had to go to the towns only grocery store where I worked and tell them that I was quitting. I walked to work everyday and never had I bumped into anyone new or suspicious but today, for some reason, was different.
A man, about eighteen or nineteen was walking towards me on the sidewalk. I smiled and nodded like any polite person but he didn't seem to notice me and I just shrugged it off. He looked like he was on a mission anyway.
At the store it was dreary yet clean. There were no decorations or color in that store. I was glad to get out of this boring grey town.
The store manager was very understanding and he agreed and let me quit the job.
On the walk back home I noticed that it was starting to rain. I looked at my wristwatch and sighed. Yup, it was 10:30 AM of course it was starting to rain.
I walked pass a small alleyway that wouldn't catch your attention most of the time but this time something was different, I could sense it. It was like an extra sense of mine, finding stuff that was out of place. I had to check it out.
I walked a little ways down and there was nothing. Just old unused dumpsters and stray trash. Nothing out of the ordinary.
At least that was what I thought until I saw a mysterious person at the other side of the alleyway, blocking my way out.
I felt someone grab my mouth and pull me back towards a dumpster and I heard a man.
"Drug her man!" his voice was gruff and I was officially frightened.
A rag went over my mouth and slowly I blacked out.
