Chapter 8: Can I have this dance?

Sabrina's POV  

"Sab did you finish that assignment that Mrs.Andrews gave us?"

"yeah why?" I looked at her.

"I need some notes for it before we get ready for the party." Bella says as we walk down the hallway and out of the school.

"It's not a party the school's formal dance that is tonight at 7:30."  

"well what time is it now?" I looked at my phone.

"It's 3:45."

"well when we get home we can get ready for the party-  no dance."she says as my phone vibrated.

"who texted you?" i gasped at the message that popped up on my phone.

"Tyler! he said that he can't make it to the dance."she smiled and jumped.

"awe really?"

"Yeah but hey were still meeting everyone else there, Now come on the game start in five minutes."

"why are we going."

"were going to support your brother remember?"

"yeah i remember but why do we have to goo?" 

"come on..." i grabbed her hand as we walked around the school to the football field.

1 hour and 29 minutes later.....

The score is 28 all if the South High Eagles beat our East High Tigers its gonna be a big lose for all of us.

"I can't believe were tied against our rivals this is so awesome!" Bella says as she fills her mouth with popcorn."

"yeah I really hope we win" I looked down onto the field and saw Cameron talking to his team."

"Alright Tigers on 3.. 1 ,2 ,3 TIGERS!!!!!" he says as he the team separated and went to their positions. there was 10 seconds left on the clock and the game was tense.

"hike 14, 8 to 12 set..HUT!!!!" I spot Frankie tossed the ball under his legs to let it go to Cameron's friend Caleb, Caleb then passes the ball to Chris and he looks around and throws it over to Cameron and Cameron started running towards the touche down zone.

"Go Cameron!!!" I saw him running and looking up to catch, he jumped up as high as he could, grabbed the ball while someone grabbed his foot but as the clock went down to the last second he hit the touch down zone right when the buzzer went off.

BOOM!!! confetti came flying out all over the field and the bleachers as the football players ran to Cameron and picked him up on two of their shoulders  cheering and laughing with joy. I spot Cameron with a football in his hand, he looked so happy. he got down and hugged Caleb when all of a sudden a big jug of Gatorade got poured on them both. 

"lets go congratulate them!" Bella says as she runs down the stairs with her third bag of popcorn.

"bells wait." I grabbed my bag and ran down the stairs to catch up with her. I quickly followed her from the the bleachers and walked onto the field with her. 

"Cam!" she shouts out as Cameron turns around and started jogging towards us.

"hey." 

"good job out there big bro." 

"thanks bells." 

"yeah great job that catch was amazing."

"that you carmine." he winked at me secretly as he brushed his hair back.
