Mia's POV:

I woke up to once again Rex licking my face.

I got mad at him the first time but now i don't really mind.

I looked at my phone and remembered the texts i got last night. My smile turned into a frown as i got out of bed and into the shower.

Once i was done I put on a black hoodie and skinny jeans with my favorite boots

My phone started ringing. I picked it up. The caller ID says unknown but its not the same number as that creepy person.

I hit anser

Mia.
Unknown person.

"H- hello? Who is this?" i asked

"Its Scott i need the team back" he or she replies.

Wait... What him!?!?!?!

"I said im done with that stuff" i say madly

"Mia"

"What!" i yell

"Emma was kidnapped"

"Oh my god"

(Scott is Mia's old boss and Emma is Scotts younger sister)

"If you really care about Emma you will met me at the base. I'll give you 24 hours to come and if your not there well then i'll know you don't care about her" and with that he hangs up.

What am i going to do? I care about her but will mom let me go? If i say im going to one of my old friends houses.

What about school? I'll lie and say im sick like i always did before.

Now to tell mom and hope she lets me go....

"Mom, My friend...... Just celled and said they want my help. Im going now bye" i get my bag and head to my room and pack stuff i will need and clothes, water and food.

"Why so soon And witch friend?"
Oh no what am i going to say?

"Im going back HOME to see Ashley shes pregnant" im sorry Ash but looks like your going to be a mom because im dumb and didn't think before i talk.

"Oh! Ok bye" she hugs me and gives me my car keys. "Oh and mom just say im sick and i can't come to school"

I've bin driving for hours. I only have 10 hours left to get there.

What if im late and they think i don't care, what if im late and Ashley won't talk to me again.

I really hope im not late.

Fuck it im taking a short cut. I drive on a little road that my family would go to get to town faster.

I get in town then drive through it and exit town

about 9 hours later i see the base.

I park outside the base.

"Hey we need a name before you come in" i tall guy says. I don't think i know him?

"Its Mia now can i go" i say annoyed. "Do you know her?" the tall guy asks the other dude. i think i know him

"Yes i know her she worked here before i have not seen her in years. Hey Mia how old are you now"

"Im 16" i replied. "Oh wow last time i saw you, you were only 10" i think his name is Mathew. "Yeah can i go in now i need to see Scott" i ask.

He moves so i can walk in. When i walk in i see Ashley. I run up to her and hug her "im sorry" i say

"Sorry for what?" she asks. "Well.... I said to my mom that your pregnant. It was the only way i can come" i explained. "O- oh Ok then. At lest your here" she replies

"Yeah so where is Scott?" i ask. "In his office" she explained. "Ok"

Brandon's POV:

I feel like i know Mia from somewhere. Whatever its not like she is my friend Mia who works for Scott. The Mia here is weak and not the bitchy mean one i know from work. It can't be her.

I got a call from Scott saying Emma was kidnapped. The first thing i did was pack a bag and leave. I left a note for my mom and dad saying i was out of town.

I got there and walked inside and first person i see is MIA THE ONE FROM SCHOOL!?!?!?

"What are you doing here?" i ask.
"Scott called me. Wait why am i explaining myself to you?"

"Sorry for at school the other day I was being a jerk and wgat Josh said is not a lie" i say hoping she forgives me. I was having a bad day and i was drunk so yeah.

"Why did you do that?" she asked. "I was having a bad day and i was drunk" i explained "can we be friends again?" i asked.

"Well you did save my life once so yeah" i was so happy we are friends again she helped me a lot of times before

Mia's POV:

Im happy that me and Brandon are friends again but its not the time for that Emma is missing and we need to find her.

Scott walks out of his office with Emma!?!?!

"YOU SAID SHE WAS KIDNAPPED!" Brandon yells

"It was the only way to get you all here" he explained.

"Scott someone knows about my dad" i said. "What who?" Scott asked

"Im not sure" i explain. "We need to find them and put them down"

"Scott why did you need us here?" Ashley asked. "Because the gang Mia's dad was in is back in business" he explained.

What!?!?! I killed my dad when i was 10 because he was evil and it stoped his gang and now they are back. Oh ill be happy to kill all of them if i have too.

"I'll help you Scott. We can't let them do bad stuff again" i say

And yes i know we do bad stuff to like selling drugs, killing and doing drugs because it made as feel good but we don't go killing people because we feel like it.

(im not saying drugs are good. They just did it to feel good and Scott is not all there because of it. They all stoped doing them because if you do drugs your just slowly killing yourself. So don't think im saying they are good for you)

We really do need to find that person before they say stuff about my dad.

We all got are own rooms in the base Scott showed me my room about an hour ago.

I got in the shower and then jumped in bed and fell asleep.

I bet you guys didn't think Mia was in a gang and killed her dad.

I know i said before that chapter 7 was going to be a halloween chapter but then i had a good idea to have dogs in the book so chapter 9 will be a halloween chapter.
