Free's Best Friend

Chapter One

          Lucy's POV
   I wonder around the woods, without a clear goal in mind. All I knew was that I had to leave, Lui behind.
    I spot a brown deer in the distance, I walk towards it. Hoping, it was near somewhere. I was right, I looked around and I see a small white building.
     There's a little kid, with blonde hair. Which has a red strip going through it. I ponder around, aimlessly. "May I help you?" The kid asks. I jump suddenly, not expecting for him to talk to me.
   "I'm just looking for somewhere to stay.." I say, while rubbing the back of my neck. "Is that so?" He asks. I nod, "The names Free," Free says holding out his hand. "Lucille, call me Lucy" I say grabbing his hand. We shake hands, "Lets go," he says.
     I nod, and he leads me to a bigger building. It has a couple of stories, which I'm not going to guess how many.
     "Chrisy! There was this kid, around my age who said she was looking for a place to stay!" Free explains. "Why you might be?" She asks.
   "Lucille, call me Lucy!" I beam.
       A few years later
     Me and Free, share a room which usually isn't allowed but since we are so close Chrisy let us. I wake up to someone shaking me, "Freeji five more minutes."
   "No try outs are today, don't you want to see who will be attempting to join?" He asks. "Fine let me get my mask," I say grabbing it. Like usual he already left, tsk somethings never change.
    I walk out, my boots tapping along the floor. I see a couple of,new faces. I know one very well, he went against my brother Lui.
   I walk over next to Free, "Are you seriously thinking these rookies will get in?" He nods. "Of course,they have to after all." He says.
   "I know- wait. Is that who I think it is?" I ask. "Who?" Free asks. "Thats Valt Aoi ain't it?" I ask looking closer.
   "Yeah, why do you care so much?" Free asks. "He went against my brother, Lui. He would've won if it weren't for a crack in the stadium," I explain.
   "Is that so?" Free asks stepping out of the shadows. "There he is. Wheres Lucy?" Asks a blue haired girl. Free points behind her, "Hiya!" I clap my hands next to her ear.
   Free and I laugh, "They always fall for it!" We said at the same time. "Anyways you wanted us Chrisy?" I ask.
   She nods, "I need you to test who will be in the top team. You two are already in," she says. We both nod.
   "Who's going me or you?" I ask tilting my head. Free points at me, "Oh come on!" I whine.
   "I'm not even that good," I lie. "Sure,whatever you say," Freeji says, smiling.
   This blonde kid steps up, "The names Honco!" I look at him, "Sure kid"
   I grab my bey, "You know, winning is a great feeling. Too bad you won't experience it," I say.
   "You aren't using your launcher?" Asked Honco. "If I did, It wouldn't last as long," I tell the poor kid.
    We do the count down, and I throw my bey. It robbles, badly. "Freeji your taking that next one," I say. He nods..
   My bey takes the center, Honcho hits it. I steal its energy, "Will you look at that?" I ask. Bursting it fairly quickly, I grab my bey.
