Chap. Eighteen (Part One)

I shouldn't have said yes, I shouldn't have agreed. Never in my life, so much regret. Chrisy gave me a wonderful new necklace that she found cute, and wanted me to wear around a lot. Then we just hung out, Free's birthday gift was that date.
But after that he seemed distant, he never wanted to talk to me anymore. He's the one who asked me out, at the very least he should treat me as a person. During battles, sure he'll talk to me then, because he has to. He never would talk to me then afterwards.
I'm pretty sure everyone can see that. My phone rings and Free looks over at me, showing jealousy and yet happiness. It was my brother Lui, and once he realized that it was rage and jealousy. Was he avoiding me because he was jealous?
No, if that were the case he would have brought it up with me. Or would he have? Probably not at this rate, he'd ignore me like always.
"Why do you ignore me all the time?" I ask hoping to see an answer, which probably won't happen. He was silent, until he perked up. "I ignore you because you never try to talk to me," Free says.
I didn't expect for him to actually talk to me, I text Lui 'I'll call u back in a bit'. "Before we started dating,  we'd both start up conversations, why can't we do that now?" I ask. He fell silent again. "At least tell me why you're jealous!" I say.
"I'm jealous because you spend all your time with your brother Lui!" He said, clearly angered. "There you happy now?" He asked while walking away, slamming the door behind him.
I soon walk out as well, hearing a few whispering along the way. "That's the first time they spook in weeks! And it had to be an agruement!" They would say.
I went into the cafe and looked at everyone whispering, clearly in rage I said "Instead of whispering say it!"
Chris was in here along with Trad. I guess he joined again. "Hey calm down, what happened?" She asked. I looked over at Free and he looked at me. I only saw two emotions in his eyes, regret and still jealousy. He probably regreted telling me anything, and was still jealous of my brother.
I walk out and take my phone out of my black jeaned pocket. I called Lui and he answered within 6 seconds of it ringing. (S is lui because he's a short sharkie boi, and L is for Lucille.)
S:Yeah?
L: Where are you, I need to talk to you in person
S: About?
L: Free, he's jealous of you, we just talked after weeks of dating and I need help, please.
S:I'm at Blakeword, number 1124.
L:bye ill see you there.
I hung up afterwards and headed to his address. I'm sure Free over heard the conversation but I don't care.
After I managed to make it to his location, I soon saw it was his house. Which I'm pretty sure he shared with someone else. I knocked on the door and he opened it, "You needed help?" He asked, which I nodded to. "First tell me what happened," he said. "So free asked me out maybe three or four weeks ago, and hasn't talked to me after that day. And the one time he does talk to me it's because you were on the phone, and it seems he's jealous of you and I don't know why, then we got into an argument then stopped talking." I said.
"So he's jealous of me, probably because we started talking more, and then he just stops talking to you.." He recited and added a part. "Yes, it's like he doesn't want to hang out with me! I mean when we were younger and best friends we would both start conversations, and talk none stop! I don't understand what changed," I explain. Lui listened to everything I had to say, "He's probably just worried and doesn't know how relationships work," he says while pouring him a glass of tea. Which nade me look at him, the tea smelled great honestly.
"Want some? You've been eye balling it" he says. "Yes please, and thank you," I say. "You're welcome. And honestly he probably doesn't understand how relationships work, it's like his first rodeo. You won't understand until you have more experience, or practice longer. In this case, he won't understand until y'all date longer, or one of you moves on." Lui says while handing me a cup of sweet tea.
"So in the long run he will either come around and talk to you, or you need to move on. And I'm not saying to end it right now give it some time and if it doesn't get better then well you know what to do," He explains. "That shockingly made sense," I said, holding back tears. I knew this was Free's first relationship but that doesn't mean he should treat me like that.
"But give it time," Lui says. I didn't actually think he would be a wise one, but I guess we all are smart deep down. Lui looks at me and probably sees the tears in my eyes, he hugs me. "Let it out," he says while hugging me, and rubbing my back.
"He just ignores me all the time unless he has to talk to me, like for matches against other teams," I managed to choke out while crying.
"I know, its okay," he says. He soon let go of me, "remember you one have a match today, and two make sure you at least attempt to bring up conversation with Free," he says, growling at his name. Which I can understand, they always have disliked each other and plus, he also hurt his little sister. He was born a minute before I was, to clarify.
I nod and walk out, making sure that I bring up conversation. "Also come back when ever," Lui says and I nod.
This situation with Free was growing reckless and restless. He probably didn't ever care about any of this. Also game wise, we're up against Diago's team from France. Which luckily if they ever wanted to speak French, I knew some. (A/N- I translate it for y'all Kay?)
When we arrived at the arena, I couldn't dare to look at Free.  I look around and Valt's eyes were full of determination. He wanted to win against his friends. Kuza who didn't know Diago well, but knew someone else on their team. Clio, Silas just wanted to win, like normal.
Kuza wanted to win against Clio, and I could see that in his eyes. Free just wanted to win all around. Silas, well the same as Free. We all wanted to win, badly..
This match didn't decide if we move on, but we all just wanted to win. "Y-you think we'll win?" I managed to choke out to Free. Honestly I was hopelessly nervous to attempt talking to him. He looked over at me, "Clearly," was all he said, then walked off.
Many others could see this, that this was hurting me mentally. I don't think I'll be able to handle it any more!
Valt was the captain for various reasons, mainly because he has better wits. "I'll go out first!" He shouted. "Hey what about me?" Kuza asked. "And me?" Silas asked. Valt always doing before thinking.
"And what about me?" I asked, my voice silent but deadly. Deadly enough to make everyone silent. My voice boomed in the state if which I was. I just needed to win at something, and I feel like I could win at this. To say the very least..
"We shouldn't send her out! She has emotional issues right now..." Kuza whispered, think I couldn't hear him.
"I heard that and I don't have emotional issues!" I said, only to prove their point. What I said was a rage out burst, so I was proving their point already..
"Hey! All of you, calm down and send Silas. Out of y'all who want to battle and are capable physically and emotionally, he won't disappoint," Free says.
"You're one to talk!" I argued with Free, almost instantly covering my mouth afterwards.  "Why are you so surprised?" He asked getting up. He was probably going to walk out, like always.
But I was wrong, he was just stretching. I got up from the bench, and moved closer to where the TV was. I wanted to see the TV, to watch Silas' match.

I'm thinking of making all the chapters after this, this long and detailed. What do y'all think? Also in the next chapter I will add some French in there! I'll translate it, for you all.
Also if you liked the book so far, please think about Voting! Greatly appreciated.
