I'm happy. I find delight in the world around me, see happiness in little things. The things that happened, are happening and will happen seem to bring only pleasure in my current state of mind and I don't want to change this moment of joy.
But even if I deny all that, I'll still be happy. So, yes, I'm happy. I'm ecsatically enjoying this phase of merriment, dancing in this feel of felicity and am simply happy.

Your relationship with Taehyung was going better than expected. Everyday, he would wait for you by your locker and walk with you to class. He would sit beside you in lunch breaks and would sneakily steal Jungkook's food while encouraging you to steal Hoseok's. Your relationship with the boys had also improved.
Yoongi had started sharing his jokes and snipes of dark humour with you as you walked home with them. Jin showed you how to decorate your cupcakes using a fork as you began sharing recipes after finding that the both of you had a knack for cooking. Namjoon was a whole other mystery. At first, he smiled at you over the lunch table or nodded in greeting when passing by in the corridors. But as you began spending time with all of them, he warmed up to you and now, as you sit beside him after school, waiting for the others, he talks about his favourite soft toy and how Yoongi grudgingly fell in love with it in middle school. You laugh. These boys were actually just dorks, and you loved that.
You hear footsteps and you turn around to see Yoongi and Jimin walking towards the group's meeting point. Your smile falters a little when you remember that the one guy you wanted to make friends with hates you. Your relationship with Park Jimin went nowhere but downhill. But your lips curve up again when you see how nicely the duo in front of you suited each other. Yoongi says something and Jimin laughs but as the older continues, the expressions switch and now Yoongi's laughing as Jimin carries a not-so-little pout. They reach you and greetings are exchanged. Jimin informs the group that Taehyung and Jungkook are planning to stay back and work on their literature.
"But Tae is amazing at language," you argue. Namjoon laughs, "yes, but Kookie is not." You ask for Hoseok's whereabouts and find that he is also staying back but for practising chemistry. "That's perfect!" you exclaim. "Even I need to stay back. You see, I need to rewrite my chemistry test."
"But hasn't it already been like half a year?" Jimin spoke up. "Yes, it has but the teacher said that the only way I can make up for the last time is by writing two tests for the end-of-years," you reply. "But how is that even possible?" he asks and this time there is less hostility behind the words. Glad that he is mostly curious now, you decide to tell him the truth. "Well, you see, my dad asked for it... And, to put it simply, my dad is rich." You saw the three boys frown but didn't bother to explain. It would strike them later anyway. So you grabbed your bag, turned back to the school and went to search for Jung Hoseok.
A loud shriek tears through your body as the relentless fingers continue digging into your abdomen. "Sister, stop!" you gasp out but are unable to say anything else as the fingers dig deeper. "Why?~" she cooes and you would have cried for help had it not been your sister doing this to you. "I think that's enough, Myunye," you hear your brother say, "she has learnt her lesson." You nod as he finishes, searching for any way to escape. "Nope, who told her to come sneaking up on me?" Myunye chirps and once again you become a squealing mess. You give up and let laughter slip from you as you thrash to get free while crying happy tears and listening to the chuckles and giggles from your siblings. After all, your sister gave the best 'tickle attacks'.
"Hoseok oppa!" you called as you searched the classes. This was the worst. You had come without asking where the other boy actually was. You face-palmed and in the process, bumped into someone's back. "Move off, loser," you murmured, not even a little remorseful. "Say that to my face, you witch," said Jeon Jungkook. You groaned. "Why are you here?" he asked. And then, "oh! Of course. But Taetae hyung can't walk with you today."
His face remained impassive and his lips twitched in a teasing manner and you were way too tempted to shove his face in the wall. Yet, the crack in his voice and the dimming in his eyes stopped you. "Actually, I'm not here for him. I'm here for Hoseok oppa," you answer. His eyebrows quirk up in question and you repeat your previous conversation.
He laughs and lightly hits your shoulder. "I actually like how it is because of that chemistry test that we know each other better," he says, amusement dancing on his features. You liked this look on him, it wasn't everyday someone saw 'The Great Jungkook' look so relaxed. "Anyway, Hoseok hyung is at the rooftop." He gave you directions and before you could say anything, he patted your arm, dropped a 'you're welcome' with a mischievous wink and walked away.
A smile threatened to form on your lips as your entire being was washed in warmth. It wasn't the fast-beating, burning feeling like with Taehyung. Instead, it was soft and gentle and you basked in its fading glow as you ascended the stairs.
