Teagan's POV
"Hadi!" I yelled at her, my eyes wide and my hands pulled into fists by my side. Before I thought about was I was doing and had stomped out of the room and down the stairs, trying to find somewhere to escape. Turned my head I spotted the door and ran towards it, tears brimming my eyes.
"Teagan?" I heard someone call my name before I slammed the front door behind me, running out around the corner of the house sliding down the wall, completely shocked. "Teagan?" The voice came again. This time quieter. Why can't they just leave me alone? As I raised my head to see who it was, I felt a warm hand on my shoulder and quickly looked. Cameron.
"C-Cameron?" I stuttered, even though I shouldn't be surprised to see him here. He was fairly popular.
"Teagan, are you okay?" He asked and sat down beside me, keeping his hand over mine.
"I'm... I don't know..." I let out I soft whimper as I replayed what I just witnessed only minutes ago. My best friends kissing my ex. I know Kaley was drunk by the way she giggled and didn't even bother to stop me from going in there, but Hadi? I didn't stay long enough to find out.
"What happened?" His soft, sweet voice comforted me as I brought my knees up to my chest looking at him. His dark eyes looked into mine, searching for an answer.
"I.. Hadi... Andrew... They, they were kissing. I think she was drunk but why would she go and make out with my ex?!" I half shouted the last part, making Cameron wince but he stayed calm and gave my hand a quick squeeze.
"It's okay. She's your best friend, I'm sure she has a good explanation for why she did what she did. Even if she was drunk." He gave me a small reassuring smile that made me smile back at him. Before he could respond I leaned over and wrapped my arms around his neck, burying my face in the crook of his neck. He didn't push me off, he just wrapped his arms around me as well and held me. It was nice. "Do you want to go back in and talk to Hadi? I'll come with you want." He whispered in my ear, watching me for an answer.
"I guess I probably should.." I whispered back and hooked my arms around him, giving his a small hug. "Thank you." I said and he smiled and nodded his head, grabbing my hands and helping me to stand up before walking beside me as we headed back inside.
Once we were inside I didn't know if they would still be upstairs or not, until I saw a flash of orange hair coming towards me and then I was suddenly engulfed by Hadi's arms as she hugged me, tears brimming her eyes.
"Teagan... I.. I'm so sorry. You weren't supposed to see that." She muttered and I slowly pushed her off of me.
"What do you mean I wasn't supposed to see that?" I questions my eyes narrow as I looked at her, Cameron still standing beside me.
"I can explain. Me and Kaley were wandering around when a group invited us to play Truth or Dare." She started.
Oh.
"You see, Kaley was dared to do shots and I was dared to make out with the person across from me."
Andrew. This also explained why Kaley was drunk.
I placed my hands on her shoulders and looked her straight in the eye. "So none of that was by choice?" I asked her, my eyes searching hers as I hoped it was true.
"Yes. It started out as just kissing right? Then that bastard decided it would be okay to start touching me, and shoving his tongue down my throat. Teagan I would never hurt you like that." She looked at me as she continued to explain, wiping a tear from her cheeks.
"Okay." That was all I needed to say and we were hugging, both of us sniffling as we didn't so. After a moment I realized that Cameron might have either left or was just standing there awkwardly. Looking to my side I saw him standing there and grabbed his hand smiling at him.

After me and Hadi had cleaned up we walked back up the stairs to find Kaley so we could take her home. It had only been two hours and she was already very, very drunk.
"Kaley?" I turned my head as I looked for her in the hallway. Hadi tapped me on the shoulder and pointed towards the bathroom. I laughed lightly and rolled my eyes. Bracing myself, I walked into the bathroom and knelt down beside Kaley, holding her hair back as she vomited into the toilet. After a good 10 minutes, she finally stood up and gave us an uneasy nod. Hadi and I stood on either side of her as we made our way down the stairs, towards the front door. Just as we were about to leave I heard my name being called and I glanced back to see Cameron walking towards me. Hadi nodded at me, a smile on her lips and began to walk out towards the car.
"Yeah?" I turned around as he made his way over, curious as to what he was going to say.
"Uh.. I.." He stumbled over his words briefly before leaning forwards and giving me a light kiss on the cheek. I immediately felt my cheeks warm up and I smiled at him before giving a small wave and walking out the door. As soon as started heading towards Hadi's car, I began to overthink what had just happened.
Should I have kissed him back?
Should I have at least said something?
He probably thinks I don't like him or something now.
Wait, does he like me?
I shook my head, trying to clear my thoughts as I opened the car door, climbing inside. Hadi pointed behind her to where Kaley was, an amused grin on her face. I turned in my seat to look back at where she was. Kaley was passed out across the entire backseat, her mouth hanging open as she did so.
"We better get her home." I laughed and pulled my seat belt across my chest. My head tilted back against the seat as I closed my eyes. It felt like it had only been seconds when the car stopped. Opening my eyes I looked out the window to see my house, then looked back to find that Kaley was no longer there.
"You fell asleep so I took her inside once we got to her house." Hadi answered my thoughts and I nodded, unbuckling my seat belt.
"Well, that was one night I won't forget." I grinned and opened the door looking back at Hadi as she spoke.
"And one night that Kaley won't remember." We both laughed at her comment, and I quickly waved goodbye before walking into my house.
