sabz.

"Justin, I'm serious. Behave." I scolded the 20 year old who was besides me, as I squeezed his arm that I was holding onto, tighter. I faced forward, staring at the elegant looking adults scattered around the fine ball room.

I heard my boyfriend huff in annoyance, and I could tell that he was already sick of this place. I mean, I hate it too. But it is my parents house party, and I haven't seen them in months, so I had to go. Justin had plans for tonight with the guys, but I made him turn it down just so he could come with me.

"Why should I behave to people who already hate me, Sabz?" Justin glared around the atmosphere around us, a look of disgust taking over his face as I rolled my eyes.

"Stop being so childish. Justin, my parents...like, you." I spoke, uneasily because, I knew the reason Justin didn't want to come here in the first place was because of the dislike that my parents both shared of Justin. I mean, his tattoos, his 'bad' reputation from the press, and not to mention the flings and lovers that he messed around with before he dated me, is the kind of thing that my parents don't want me looking into a guy.

"No they don't, they hate me. Also, they're hating you as well because you've moved in with me after you know what happened that night." Justin stated matter-of-factly.

I stayed quiet, because he was right. I haven't spoken to them in months. My mom and dad are still probably very upset that I chose Justin over them when they tried to get me back in with them when I was already settled with Justin.

They probably still, to this day wonder why I love him so much. But you know you're in love when you look past all their flaws, and just focus on how he still gives you butterflies when he says your name, how he spends all his time making sure that you're all his, and how he reminds you that he loves you every second.

Justin has done all of those things, and I just fall for him harder and harder each day I spend with him. I smile softly at the thought, hugging my body closer to his, his warmth radiating to my body.

"But thanks for coming though, Justin. It means a lot." I spoke quietly, peeking up at my tall hunk of a man that I'm proud to call my boyfriend.

"Anything for you." Even though he was annoyed and mad at this idea, he still managed to send me a small genuine smile towards me, making my heart flutter out of my chest. I bit onto my bottom lip, pulling Justin by the arm, across the huge ball room, to where my parents are located. I still haven't greeted them yet, and I could tell Justin has been trying to stall me from wanting to talk to them considering we've been here about 10 minutes already.

"But I don't want to talk or let alone look at them." Justin groaned, once my parents began to come into view from the seas of people crowding them. Justin's movements stopped from behind me, and glued his feet to the floor, not wanting a move another inch.

I pulled Justin with more force, but he's literally been working out everyday. I haven't worked out in years, so I don't have as much muscles as this guy has.

"I mean, you're lucky I'm even breathing the same air as them!" He practically exclaimed, letting go of my hand, throwing his two hands in the air. Since I was pulling him with so much force, and the sudden action of when he let me go, I fell backwards on my butt, the two of us causing a scene.

My parents caught on to what everyone's looking at, and saw me and Justin.

I always had instincts to when either my mom or dad would walk closer to me, and I felt them doing so right now.
