Let's look back, shall we?..
When i was young, all i could think of was to grow up fast- er. just so i can do things on my own. You know, be the queen👸👸👸of my own world! I dont want to follow any rules but those that i created. I was confined in the idea that i should be my only master. I dont like being called out. i dont like to be told. I dont even want to listen to my sis and bro who raised me. I just want to do things my way...👣👣
I was a typical kid in our neighborhood. As typical as not having much friends around me.🤷♀️🤦♀️
I wasnt close with my cousins and all of my siblings are already "grown up". I have a niece who was younger than me but we cannot stay together for an hour in 1 room without fighting. 🤯🤯
In my elementary days, i cant remember having set of close friends. I got acquainted with my 2 classmates but it's more of an association because we are the top 3 students. (Well there's just 2 sections anyways. Haha!)
But other than that - nada!
Well they said it's because im so girly and that i cannot relate to them. Imagine the whole class forming a big football team against the other section and i was the only one excluded! This is outright bullying during my time. It hurts my feelings you know... 🤬🤮🤮😢😢😭😭
It's funny how i was one of the popular students in school but at the same time, im a total OUTCAST. I simply dont belong and i couldnt fit in.😭😭😭
You see that was my first "real" problem as a kid. And i swear, all i was praying for before was for me to to grow up, just so i can escape it.🙏🙏🙏
My second major problem was when i was in high school. Lovelife😍😍😍, of course! Hello! I was a teenager...What else!?😳😳
I had a relationship with a guy whom i was infatuated since elementery days. He's nice, sweet, a total boy next door. He can dance and loves to play basketball.⛹️♂️⛹️♂️ Because of our young age, we fought a lot. As in a lot! We even fought over colors - blue and orange. Yuck, right?! VERY FUNNY.. right! But believe me, during that time it was as heavy as life and death. Hahaha! Eewww...🙈🙉🙊
Mind you, every fight feels like the end of the world! Every argument and issue is enormous. (Yes - the color fight is massive. Hahahhahaha!!!)
Then one day, we just lost contact. Cant remember what happened but that was it. My first heartache💔💔💔.... Whew!
During those times, it was so sad, depressing even... felt like no one likes me, no one cares, nobody loves me.. im a total loser! ⛈🙄All the negativity consumed me... i was a total wreck! 🤮🧗♂️
BUT Did you notice something? 🤔🤔🤔
Yes! I was laughing while im trying to recall and tell you the story. 🤗🤗🤗
How can i laugh over it? It was heartbreaking and i should self pity...😖😖😖
NAH! Im telling you, these problems are nothing when you become an adult. Think about this, at your age, do you worry about buying the food🥧🍜 you will eat, how you'll pay for your basic needs such as water🛀🧖♀️, electricity, internet and or load for your phones🤳🤳🤳. Oh, did you even buy that phone, ipad and/or laptop?
Hmmm, what about worrying about your tuition fees, allowances and paying your school service?
For those super lucky - do you even worry about cleaning your room and making up your bed? 🛏🛋
I can list down a bunch of things that can make you realize what i'm talking about.. but nah! I think you got the whole picture right!? (I hope so!)
My point is - do NOT be in a hurry... being a grown up is not all fun. Yeah, of course... there are perks that comes with it but you know, it's not all that. There will be more responsibilities.. way beyond than just putting a pitcher of water on the table every meal or that of putting your shoes in the right place after use or even putting away your phone when it's time for bed.
Enjoy being a kid and act your age... those bullies that you worry about? guess what! They will not go away. They will be forever present in your life. As sure as the 🌞 will rise in the east. The only difference is their faces and their ways but their purpose will always be the same - To pin you down.
That first heartache from a crush💗💔💥 - my gosh! U know i got overly teased before bec of my huge crush for one of the most popular basketball players in my time⛹️♂️⛹️♂️⛹️♂️. To me, if someone will say he doesnt look good, i will surely yell and get mad with that person.i will fight for him and will protect him to death. I feel like a paid bodyguard. Got it? Lol...
Fast forward in the present time - The other day, i was browsing the net and found an old picture of him...as i objectively look at the picture, i FINALLY get it why i was being teased. Hahaha.. don't make me elaborate! It's not nice! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I guess, what im trying to say is, take your time🕰🕰🕒⏲⏱⏰... take it easy... relax... enjoy the ride!

And oh - those 2 people who live with you - That guy you call fat belly and raised your voice with and that lady you fought with the other day, they are the truest people in your life. They love you unconditionally and i bet you mean the world to them. They will do everything just to see you smile. They are the only people who will not wish you bad and trust me, they will do everything in their power to make you feel secured and loved.
They will sacrifice for your sake...
Honor and love them... do not disrespect them.
You may be a billionaire and be the best in your field.. you may have all the means to travel every single corner of the world but i bet yah, you can never find a replacement to your parents. There's nothing like them in a trillion years..youre very lucky if you still have the both of them. 😉😉😉
