"GO GO GO!" I yelled, flustered. This car is not fast enough, I'm going to ruin my perfect record! But I can't get mad knowing I helped Mama out. She asked me if instead of buying a car for me, she could give me her old car, so they could save money. I immediately said yes, without a doubt. I love her and Papa so much! Shaking my head out of the thought, I pulled into the school parking lot. "Finally." I whispered thankfully. I hopped out of the car, grabbed my bag, and sprinted up the sidewalk. I rolled my eyes, as I passed the group of teenagers smoking, but something caught my eye. I whirled around, only to see my brother lighting a cigarette. My brother. "KYLE!" I screeched. He twisted his head, staring at me. Nervously he started shifting his weight from one foot to another, not knowing what to do. I was so disappointed in him. He's my brother, I'm suppose to look up to him! Not knowing what to do in the awkward yet horrible situation, I realized I need to get to first hour. I shook my head, and turned around. As soon as I put one foot in front of the other, someone grabbed my bicep. I tried to squirm out of their firm hold, but they forced me to face them. Chorel. "Let go of me!" I yelped, flinching from the pain he caused in my arm. "Shh baby, have a cigarette, talk about your day." He said calmly. "EW! NO THANK YOU!" I screamed, offended. Chorel started twisting my arm. "Ow, ow, OWW'" I yelled. He snickered, leaning the towards me. I took advantage of the opportunity, with all my strength I put my hand on his face and pushed, until he fell to the ground. "GET BACK HERE!" He said, getting up. Run. I ran as fast as I could into the building. He hit the door, cussing very loudly. "Phew." I thought as I walked to my first hour.
