"Miss Fallon, please take your seat. We shall discuss your tardiness after class is dismissed." Mrs. Shawna explained. I nodded very quickly, and took a seat in the front of the class. Trying to make a good impression, I took notes, answered questions, and stayed focus through the. Whole. Entire. Boring. Class.

"RRRRIIINNNGGGGG!" The bell buzzed off, as the rush of teenagers getting out of their classes, swarmed the halls. I got up and walked to Mrs. Shawna's desk. I was hoping my performance in class would let me off the hook. "I understand you were tardy," she said slowly, "I'd like an explanation." "Yes, Mrs. Shawna," I replied slower than she did, "it was my 'new old' car." Mrs. Shawna looked up thoroughly confused. "My Mom gave me her old car, instead of buying me a new one so they could save money. And let me tell you, that car is so.. So slow!" I said in my most convincing voice. "Let me tell you, Fallon," she set down her pen, and walked towards me, "I'm aware of your perfect attendance record, and I'm very fond of you," I could tell what was coming, and my heart dropped. "And of course you're 4.0 average but," she was trying to find the right words, I could tell. "It's has to come to an end. Not your grades, your attendance. I'm giving you a tardy." I put my hands behind my back, and secretly flipped her off. "Now go to your second hour, I'll write you a pass." Ugh! Why? This is literally the only thing I had despite my grades that was better than anyone else! Now I'm just another teen swarming the halls, not recognized for anything, except being the schools stereotypical good girl. That's gonna change. I thought to myself, that's definitely gonna change.
