What is the meaning of this?
I feel happy, but sad.
Like I've lost something,
Or someone.
I run around,
Hoping to find that one person.
The one person, who gave me solace.
During the simple days.
The joyful days.
When we were young.
Impressionable.
I try and try and try.
I can't give up.
Because I know that if I do,
I feel I may never see them again.
I hear it.
My name.
Their call.
I turn around as quick as I ran,
And am engulfed in their arms.
I smile at them.
They smile back.
Because they know,
That's all I've been looking for.
A simple smile.
You're the one I've been looking for.
Thank you for being there for me.
