"K-Kim Taehyung?"
———
~Unexpected~"Hm?" The bored male at the end of the table responds, his head sitting in his hand as he looks at the younger boy.
"Are you the new worker?" The small boy couldn't believe his eyes. It was Kim Taehyung. The man in which he never wanted to see again. But here he is.
His ex-boyfriend.
His blood boiled in both anger and fright, as he just froze at the door, his eyes set on the chocolate haired male who sat at the end of the table. His tongue lid over his bottom lip nervously as he had some kind of staring contest with the man who was glaring tiredly into his eyes.
"You okay, kid?" Yoongi snaps out of his almost never ending gaze as he looks down one of the boy's who sat at the table on the left, closest to him. The unfamiliar male gazed up at the smaller with worries in his doe eyes.
"I-I'm-"
"Youngjae, he's fine. You were like this on your first day." The mint haired boy gulped, Taehyung's deep and raspy voice filling up the uncomfortable silence in the room.
He licks his lips nervously, his eyes wavering between the five boys who sat at the desk. Each one looked at him, visible bags under their drowsy eyes as they slumped over their desks.
The man at the end of the table coughed, sitting up slightly as his eyes ran along a piece of paper in front of him.
"Min Yoongi, You'll be sitting in between Youngjae and Jackson. Jackson can help you out." He yawns as he finishes off his sentence, his eyes completely avoiding Yoongi's as he looked back to his computer.
A man sitting next to Taehyung groaned in boredom and anger as he raised his hand to the younger who just walked into the room. He wavers his hand, gesturing for him to sit next to him.
Yoongi guessed that was Jackson and the boy who asked him if he was alright earlier must be Youngjae. He smiles timidly, shuffling his way around the table as he huffs slightly, gripping the arms of the chair as he lowers himself onto it.
The black haired boy also known as Jackson thought lightly of it as the others continued working.
The small boy looks in front of him.
His desk was obviously less decorated than the others, there was only a desktop, plain black mouse pad and a cork board which stood behind the desktop, separating him from the person in front of him.
He shook his head slightly, clasping his hands on his cheeks as he starts paying full attention to Jackson, trying his hardest not to think of the burden sitting only a seat away from home
He easily took in the different kind of information Jackson gave him.
"...so basically, all we really do is go over the general story boards of the manhwas before communicating with the artists or story makers. Then we verify when it can be published. Do you understand?" The young boy nods vigorously, already knowing the general knowledge on publishing.
Jackson smiles at him tiredly before his head comes in harsh contact with the wooden desk, the vibrations sending a few of the Manhwa books down onto his head. He groans slightly, but doesn't make any effort to move the books.
The small boy gasps, raising his hand to help the tired boy before he was stopped in his tracks by a deep voice.
"Don't mind him. He's just tired. We're all tired today so it's fine." He talked with a gruff voice, obviously annoyed. The boy gulps, looking over to the black screen of his desktop to avoid any kind of eye contact with the other.
"Don't worry about Taehyung, he's a very cold man, but a good boss." He looks to the side, the blond male, also known as Youngjae smiles rather weakly at him as he whispers slightly.
Yoongi nods sheepishly, rather shy and embarrassed in their presence.
"I'm Choi Youngjae and the boy sleeping boy next to you is Jackson Wang." The mint haired male giggles softly as he hearts the boy on the other side of his snore roughly but quietly. "The two opposite us are Jung Hoseok and Mark Tuan."
He peers over the cork board to see two, utterly irresistible but tired faces, groaning as they flick through each manhwa which is piled up on their desk.
The small boy pouts at Youngjae next to him, rather disappointed about the atmosphere in the room.
"Why is everyone so.. tired and bored?" Youngjae chuckles, rather coldly as he leans back in his chair.
"Well we are just like this some days when we are busy, and other days we aren't. Don't worry, you'll get used to-."
"You two, stop talking and get on with your work. Your irritating the shit out of me." Yoongi swallows deeply, mumbling a brief apology to the man at the end of the table.
Youngjae hesitates before leaning back towards Yoongi, smiling sweetly.
"Here's your work. You and Jackson are going through the story of an upcoming manhwa. Well when I say you and Jackson I kind of mean you because Jackson's kind of.. sleeping." Yoongi huffs, his cheeks puffing out as the other male hands him papers with computer writing on it.
"I'll also send you the email of the word document which has the story on as well. Welcome to the Shoujo Manhwa Publishing Department!"

Sorry that was shit and boring.
Don't worry, I'm going to try and make the story more humorous as the story progresses!
Have a good day/night! ❤️❤️❤️
