(Stiles)
They let me out the next day because I didn't have any serious injuries, well besides the memory loss. They thought bringing me around my daily surroundings would have something click, meaning they gave me to Derek.
Derek seemed the same, he didn't act lovey or hold my hand like he used to which was honestly disappointing. He was quiet and would every so often look at me for a whole minute. I don't understand how I fell for this guy, I'm not even gay!
"I thought maybe going to the high school would help. Kinda like retracing your steps," Derek finally talked.
"Sure," was all I said. He looked at me in confusion.
"What's wrong?" Derek asked.
"What?" Derek looked at me in all seriousness. It almost looked like his normal glare but a little softer mixed with an emotion of concern.
"You never speak a sentence with one word unless something's wrong." He stated. "Tell me."
"Well I don't know Derek, you tell me." By now we pulled over cause no more accidents please. "You've been quiet the whole time and act as if I did something wrong..."
Derek looked a little guilty. "Stiles you did nothing wrong, I just need to... process this."
"Why?" I asked. "You're not the one who had five years taken away."
"No but I'm the one who has to remember and see that the one I loved the most forgot about me. You of all people should know how that feels," Derek snapped. He immediately regretted his choice of words when he mentioned my mother.
It was quiet the rest of the way to high school and I could care less. Maybe it's better if he didn't talk at all. Besides, he'll probably find someone else, I mean look at him! He's a bunch of muscle and hair that swerves the right way even when he doesn't try-Wait I am not calling Derek Hale hot!
We went to the familiar school and I couldn't help but smile. As we parked, next to us riding an actual good motorcycle, was Scotty boi.
I went out right away and hugged him. "Hey Scotty!"
"Hey Stiles." He hugged back. "I swear to god if you pull a stunt like that again I'll kill you."
"Ha!" I laughed. "No you won't."
"Yeah," he smiled.
We went around the school and I remembered it like it was yesterday, but yesterday was five years back. I have never been more confused with myself than I have now. I couldn't remember anything like Derek and I getting married.
"So," Scott smiled. "I brought lacrosse equipment and we can play in the field."
"You just wanna see me lose because you're hoping I forgot all my skills." We both laughed while Derek was just in the background, watching. "Ok Derek, creepy or what?"
"What?" He seemed to have been lost in thought and wasn't paying attention.
"Wanna play?" I asked. He actually gave me a new face expression, a smirk. Wow, who knew he had it in him. "
You're going down," he said.
"Try me," I laughed.
We played and it was fun. If Scott tried to knock me down Derek would knock him down first. It was fun to see Scott in so much pain! I probably wouldn't have won if Derek wasn't on my team but I'm never going to admit that.
"Ok we should be heading home," Derek stated.
"Oh ok," I wasn't really weirded out by the fact of going to Dereks house. Something about it seemed normal and comfortable. I waved goodbye to Scott and ended up falling asleep on the ride there.
