I looked around at my fellow classmates. They were fairly nice, not anything special. "Hey, stop daydreaming about how hot I am and start doing your math homework!" Travis joked.

"Okay, chill out buddy. I was just wondering if my little brother was going okay. He doesn't exactly get along with people," I sighed.

"Yeah, kinda saw that part of him yesterday," Travis frowned.

"Honestly I hope he makes a good friend. He hasn't really had one since he was five," I smiled.

After school I headed directly home. Alex didn't meet me outside the school gate. Which I figured was fine, he probably just went right home. I went home and not to my surprise, Alex was doing homework with Jake in the living room. Jake was always nice like that, at least to Alex. I finished all my homework during the metro ride, I didn't get too much.

So to entertain myself I decided to go play whatever that console was that I got. I dropped my backpack by my work desk and pulled the console out from the drawer. I started up the console, which didn't even need a charger. I looked through the games, it had a couple different ones. One called "the closet" which looked like some dress up game. One called "the training grounds" which seemed like a fighting game. I ended up selecting "Free roam" which seemed pretty normal. It almost seemed like an open world sandbox game.

It was in first person view. I didn't get to select a character or anything. I looked at the screen for a second. The location my character was at seemed to be in the front yard of a giant mansion. I saw a section that said "Online" and under that was the name Shade. I looked around before an AI came up to me, "hello! You must be using the console!"

I had no idea how to respond, so I spoke out loud, "Yeah I'm using it!"

"Press menu and select 'travel' because it's a great way to get around while using the console!" the AI said.

I was impressed. The AI seemed pretty advanced. I went to the menu and pressed the green button that said "travel" and to my surprise, I blacked out.
