Ch. 5 -Shining Stars-(Part One)

Matt POV

I woke up to a beautiful Shining orange light shine through the window drapes.
'Tonight is the night.'
I look to my side and see my sleeping beauty. She looks so peaceful. I decide to get up and change into something that is comfortable. I wear a black shirt and jeans. I make sure not to wake my Tammy. That is my nickname for her. I leave to find my brothers in the throne room. "Morning my brothers." Tord-"Morning Matthew." Edd-"Good morning brother." Tom-"Morning." "So, how is your 'friend' Matthew?" Tom said, which made me go red. "S-she is in o-our room." "*snick*'our room'" they look at me. "*inhale, exhale* listen, she has told 'things' that had happened in her past, their is no way I will let her go back to her step family's house." I look down and fists my hands together. "I won't let her suffer that again." They look at me now realizing why I spend time with her. "Matthew, if you truly care for her, then let her stay here. She would most definitely love it, and you could be together." I think. "I do truly care for her. But I don't know how she will react." "Matthew, I am sure she will most definitely want to stay here. Especially with you." "Yes, but you can not be sure she will not like it. She will love it. She is a girl." "But she is not a normal girl. She is, unpredictable to me. Every girl and faye I have encountered always swoon for me, but Tamara does not. She may treat me like royalty, but she also treats me like a normal person. And, she is in fact the most perfect person ever. I care about her. So, I can't be sure she will say yes." Their is silence for a moment. "I will think about this." I decide to leave the room to the ball room."

Tam POV

I wake up on the bed. I look to see that Matt wasn't by my side. I get up and head to the sewing room. 'What am I going to wear?' I head there and see the two maids. "Good morning Marci, Ellana." "Morning!" "So, are you excited for tonight?" Marci asked. "Yes, but I must ask, what shall I wear?" "Do not worry. We are making your dress for this evening." Ellana spoke up. "But, with the speed we are at it will take quite a while. If we make it without any interruptions, we should finish just before the gates open to the ball." "I understand. I shall not interrupt anymore then. Thank you." I walk off. As I close the door they say "you're welcome." I walk through the halls to ball room. I was huge. Then I see Matthew near the window to another garden. It was within the walls limits. I walk to him.

No one POV

"Morning your majesty" Tamara says playfully, holding back a smirk.
He turns around, smiling.
"Morning my love. How did you sleep?"
"I slept well, thank you." I light blush came across Tamaras face as he kissed her hand. It was a nice feeling. Then Matthew looked up at her 'I never want to let you go.' However, tamara took her hand, leaving Matt mentally sad. "I am going to go visit my fathers tree. Is that ok?" "It is, be safe." He put his hand on her cheek and kissed the other, then leaving to go check something, leaving Tamara red. She snapped out of her daze and got dressed in what she wore yesterday. She then went to the garden then went to her fathers tree, which was easy since it was closer, only by a little. She sat down.

"Hey dad, I'm back. Tonights the ball, and I am going with Prince Matthew. How exciting is that! I wish you were here, you would have loved it." Tears started falling from her black eyes as she started sobbing. "I wish you were here so bad. I miss you so much..."

Ell POV

Today was the day of the ball. I was kinda excited. I wasn't as excited as Matilda though. I couldn't sleep. That memory kept haunting me. I couldn't stand it. 'What happened?'. We were best friends, and I betrayed her. "Darling, get up!". It was mother. "Yes ma'am." I got up from bed and got ready. I didn't change into what I was going to wear to the ball yet. I wanted to go find Tamaras fathers tree. I told mother that I was going somewhere. I get out and tried to remember the path. It was hard, but I finally found it. I walked it to find the tree. As I got closer I heard something.
"I wish you were here so bad. I miss you so much." I got around a tree to find, 'Tamara?!' She was sitting there, crying. I immediately feel bad. "If you were here, you would laugh and be excited. You were the only one I knew who cared for me before you left. Why did you leave me? Why did you leave me alone with them? If you were here, me, you and Ell would be the best of friends. She would still be my friend, my only friend." She started sobbing more to where she covered her face with her hands. I felt so awful and guilty.
I couldn't stand their anymore.
"Why did you leave me Ell?"
