Heart racing, adrenaline pumping, sick feeling rising up from my stomach. I can hear the blood pounding in my ears. My strides are confident but my anxious facial expression betray my nervousness. My hands begin to shake as I lift them trembling towards the door and push it open hesitantly . I can feel the blood rushing from my face, leaving me a ghost of a girl. And then I see him standing there. The blood that had dissipated came back with a vengeance lighting my face up like a Christmas tree.

As the crimson blush spread across my face - clashing horrible with my auburn hair - I began to smile, timidly at first, but as I see it reflected back at me from his face I begin to grin more confidently. Soon we are grinning so wildly that I can't take it any more and I burst into uncontrollable giggles. I let my fears and worries wash away, flying away, leaving me with his comforting presence.

This is exactly what I needed. I was so worried about everything going wrong that I had been seriously considering cancelling but in reality this was all I needed - to relax and let loose. I should have known he already liked me - he was the one that made the first move, after all - and it was better to just be myself. After all - that was who he liked, wasn't it?
