chapter 2: Slave

..."So this is Septem Academy? It's even bigger than I imagined."I said to myself while standing in front of the enormous gates of the high tech castle/ mansion/academy.

*gulps* Guess this is it, I hope this get up helps, If it doesn't then I'm., err well, I'm doomed -.-".

So this is how those protagonists in those shoujo manga and dramas I watch feel like, girl pretends to be a boy, meets a boy and falls in love. Kyaaahhh! What if it happens to me?

Wait, I'm in a different situation. I might be put in jail if I'm not careful. I gotta get a hold of myself and stop daydreaming.

The enormous gates opened and I went inside,

Wow it's even more amazing inside, state of the art facilities, golden furniture, Greek statues; paintings everywhere it makes you feel like royalty. I looked around and saw a glass wall and I saw my reflection. Wow the wig really works wonders , and the school uniform looks good on me too, if only me and my guy self were two different people I really would, errr wait do I have crush on myself? Am I going nuts? ...

I continued on fixing my hair and my uniform, smiling like a narcissistic weirdo.

"Excuse me." Somebody held my shoulders and it startled me, I looked back and faced him with my hands on ninja mode.

"W-who, are you? I mean cough* cough* WHO ARE YOU?." (Guy voice commence).

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you, I don't mean any harm, Are you the scholar by any chance?" He asks.

"It's okay," I say as I lower my hands "And yes "I'm the scholar, Sato M-egu......errrr I mean Sato Takeshi, yeah I'm Sato Takeshi the scholar''. Phew that was close. -.-''

"Nice to meet you, Mister Sato, I'm Nereus fretum by the way." He shakes hands with me and fixes his glasses "And I'm this school's student council president, I'm here to tell you that the school prince is looking for you, he's waiting for you in the lobby."

"Huh, what prince? And why is he looking for me?" I replied.

"Let's get going, you wouldn't want him to be waiting for you."

We passed through some hallways and by some I meant A LOT, this school is like a maze.

I knew we were near when I saw some students flocking around in what seems to be the lobby's entrance, they were staring at me and whispering.

"Welcome to the REPRESENTING OF THE SLAVE CEREMONY." Says Nereus

A slave? What kind of school is this? "So who's the slave? '' I innocently asked

"What do you mean? don't tell me you don't know? You're.. the slave Mister Sato."

"What? you must be mistaken, I'm a scholar here.'' I replied

"Yes, you're right Mister Sato, You are a scholar here, you become a scholar because you were chosen as the slave, judging only from your grades you definitely wouldn't pass the scholarship, your grades don't qualify. Every year the school prince chooses people like you who didn't qualifynd make him his slave, in exchange that person gets to be a scholar. So this year your that one lucky person Mister Sato, In case you forgot.'' He answers

"But, w-wait I didn't know." I say as I panic.

"No buts, as I said he doesn't like to wait."

"Welcome slave! "Says a person beside a guy sitting on a throne, from the looks of it I think he's the guy they call prince.

Since I can't turn back I stepped forward and just stood there, the students watching just remained silent.

"Come closer, so the prince can see you clearly." I came closer I stood under the chandelier located at the center of the circular shaped lobby.

I stared at the prince's face; he looks like you must say a total bishounen (pretty boy).

"What are you staring at? Now stop staring like a pervert and bow down to me ." Says the prince.

Really bow down? Aiissh this is too much .........

Wait,That voice just sounds familiar, I think I heard that before but I just can't put my finger on it.

"So-o-o, you're my slave?Ha-hadon't you look too short and scrawny for a guy humph how PITIFUL!! "

I knew I was right, I'll never forget that jerk's voice!!!!!!.

I prepare for a kick without thinking, what the he dodge it again? Omo what have I done? I did it again , I charged like a bull without thinking of the situation, but it was too late I slipped and landed flat on the floor, talk about De Ja Vu!

ouch now this time it really hurts T.T.

I opened my eyes and saw everybody circling me and staring at my head.

"M-mud girl??" The jerk was staring at me looking surprised.

W-wait, how'd he know? I touched my head and exactly as I thought my wig fell off and some guy is holding it, I should've just cut my hair!!!!!!!. This is it, it's the end of the line for me there's nowhere to run I'm dead meat.

AT THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE

I'm sitting in a big chair facing a middle aged man with a closed shaved beard, I know I'm in big trouble because his looking at me eye to eye.

"I'M SO SORRY, I'M REAALLLY SORRY, I was forced I-I-I... he interrupts me and laughs "So you pretend to be a boy replacing your brother who ran away from the scholarship? Ha-ha, and let me guess did you imagine yourself as a protagonist in a drama wherein a girl pretends to be a boy, meets a boy and falls in love kind of situation, ha-ha it's an overly used plot my dear ! "

I'm embarrassed but I gotta admit I was getting the hang of it.

"I like you Miss... ummm what's your name? ''He asks

"It's Sato Megumi, sir and umm what happens to me principal Harada? " I brace myself for his answer.

"Well don't worry Miss Sato, I like your guts, your still a scholar here, a certain somebody paid for your scholarship, I know what you're thinking it's a boy's school. But we're going to make it a co Ed school. My boys are becoming full of themselves lately so I want them to interact more with people, So WELCOME TO SEPTEM ACADEMY !, Miss Sato you're the first girl to enroll here.

" Really?Thank you very much principal Harada, you don't know how thankful I am, I'd like to ask the name of the person who paid for my scholarship please, I'd want to thank him." I replied I felt like a guy that got out from prison, or a hobo that found a home.

"Oh, you'll know him soon, anyways you'd better get going, I know those students would want some answers.''

"Yes, I think I'd better go thank again sir.'' I stood up and bowed and went outside the office.

"Knowing those boy's I know something interesting will happen next ha-ha." Says Harada sensei.
