He took a seat beside me, his arm lifted up, resting it on the couch, and he turned to face me. "I know it sounds a little weird, but I really need your help."

I took a moment to answer. "Why? Why should I help you?"

He combed his hand through his hair and sighed. "I know you've had a crush on me for a long time."

I blushed. This was so embarrassing. I was sitting in front of crush, potentially helping him in getting back his girlfriend. Screwed up.

"I'm sorry for being so horrible to you, but you have to help me." He looked almost desperate.

"What's in it for me?"

"Your friend will be able to see through Chase's act and gather up the courage to kick his ass." I'm all ears now. He leaned back, knowing he had me. "You and I have to get rid of the root of our problems."

"And what is that"

"Chase Henry."

"How is Chase-" I pause, letting it all sink in. I wasn't sure if my assumptions were correct. "Explain it to me." He cleared his throat. "From the beginning," I added.

He nodded. "First thing you should know that I've in love with Charlotte since a very long time and what Jenna and I had was just a fling," he began. "It just felt important informing you of it." Who cares? I never liked that bitch anyway. "So, Chase has been obsessed with Mia since we were kids. I vividly remember the things he used to do irk her; just to get his attention. I know their living conditions makes everything even more fucked up, but that fucker has been manipulating Mia and now that he'd already fucked her, his sick obsession is increasing just day by day."

"Then why the fuck did he agree to marry Charlotte?" I said, angrily.

His eyes snapped to mine. "I'm fucking trying to say something. Q&A will come later." I didn't back down, I was just angry at this moment. "So, where was I?

"Obsession. Increasingly sick." I leaned back on the couch, folding my hands.

"Yeah, so even when he was secretly fucking her, he kept his single status out in public, constantly having different flings. He didn't seem to take in care of Mia's feelings and just continued fucking others on the side. Everything was going fine, until he found out Mia had a date with some random dude."

My eyes widened at the information. I knew everything about Mia's life, I knew she was starting to date other boys, but never in my lifetime I thought she would actually date Chase's biggest rival.

"I know, it was news to me as well. After everything Chase has gone through to make her stay far away from boys this news really bruised his ego. He even trash talked about Mia to boys so they would get the hint and never date her." He leaned back, spreading his already long legs. "You know he tried to let it go. He thought Mia would come to her sense and see what a jackass any other guys could be, but no, no, no, your dear friend brought death upon herself and suggested to put an end to their fucking. It nearly knocked his socks off."
