Chapter 5 : Surprises

(Niall's POV)

Tay called me last night and asked if i could help her with our project but i excused that i got plans. 

To be quite honest i'm actually getting ready because it's Friendship Day today .. so i planned to buy a stuffed toy ,some chocolates and a bouquet of flowers , oh and now i have build up enough courage to finally tell her the truth. That i like her.

I'll go and surprise her in her flat. 

At school i saw Lucy "Hey Niall ! you busy after school ? " she asks "Sorry Lucy i got plans after .. maybe some other time ? ohh and Happy Friendship Day bestfriend ! " 

She smiled and said "Happy Friendship Day too ! ohh and speaking of friendship you promised that you'll buy me lunch cuz you lost a bet the other day haha so..pay up ! " she joked

We both laugh and head to the cafeteria, well atleast i bought her a sandwich.

After school i head home and change clothes as soon as possible and look at the mirror for the last time and go straight to Taylor's flat. (i just walked cuz it's just near our place)

I'm almost there and i can see the house , but there's a strange car infront but i just ignored it maybe Lou bought a new car or something.

I knocked on the door and take a deep breath , cuz this is it ! i'm finally going to tell her everything i feel from the moment we met.

I heard footsteps and now im getting nervous , my palms are sweating and i'm just going to wish myself a goodluck on this. No matter what happens i'm going to tell her.

The door opened and i saw a tall , curly-haired guy he looks like he's from our school .

"Hey ! " he greeted 

"H-Hey .. Umm is Tay here ? " i asked

"Umm yeah ! i'll call her she's in the bathroom .. ohh and looking good dude ! "  as he walks away 

I stayed infront of the door and just wait. 

"Hey Niall ! what are you doing here ? " she asked , and i can see that guy is helping Tay with our project 

"Ohh umm .. Ha-Happy Friendship Day Tay ! " as i handed her the gifts , i can see that she is surprised but now i don't know how to tell her how i really feel because of this guy .

"Wow ! Thanks ! Happy friendship Day too ! come in ! take a seat ! " she offered

I came in and sit on the couch and kept quiet 

"Niall ! i would like you to meet Harry ! he's one of my friends too ! " 

Harry offered his hand and i shaked it "Hey ! nice meeting you " i said 

Once everyone settled down with some tea and biscuits we all had a chat about stuff.

When Harry excused himself to use the toilet.

That was my chance to finally tell Tay ! 

"U-Umm .. Tay " i said shyly 

"What is it Niall ? is there a problem ? " 

"Umm from the moment i met you .. all those years ago , i can't stop thinking about you and i always have a smile on my face whenever i see you... i like you Tay " 

THERE ! FINALLY I SAID IT !  .. 

She held my hand with a serious face .

"Niall .. you see that i -- umm .. i have a boyfriend and you know that .. please and i like you too but as a friend . i'm so sorry" she answered

HERE WE GO AGAIN ! ANOTHER REJECTION .. i can't help but just to walk out of her flat and run back home .. i got really mad. 

"I just wish that i kept that feeling until now ! i wish that i didn't tell her ! .. that was so stupid of you Niall ! .. you know that she has a boyfriend ! you should have controled your feelings ! " i shout as i punch my bedroom wall. 

(Tay's POV) 

I sat beside Niall while Harry was in the bathroom , i wasn't expecting that he would confess his feelings for me .. like today . I'm speechless, my hands are shaking because i'm nervous , nervouse that any word that may come out of my mouth any minute would hurt my bestfriend.

I don't know how to tell him that i just want our relationship to stay like this , as friends.

He held my hand and there he said it .. im getting teary because i rejected him twice as far and i don't want to hurt him again .. Yes i might reject him but he's still an important person to me, he became a huge part of my life and i don't want his feelings to block the way of our friendship.

I just wish he understands my situation that i'm in no ones side , i'm not choosing anyone between my boyfriend and bestfriend because i love them both. But the other as a brother.

Niall ran outside my flat and i can see he's mad and tearing his self apart. 

I tried to follow him but Harry stopped me . 

"Tay don't , give him space or things might get worse ... he needs to let his steam down in his place and when time comes that he's okay, he'll be back" 

Tears came out of my eyes because i hurted one of the most important person in my life.

"NO ! you won't understand ! i should have followed him ! " i protest but Harry just stood  there being quiet while doing the project on the floor 

"Fine , go and follow him .. don't blame me if you get hurt okay ? because i already warned you"  

I stood there while my mind is buffering .. i don't know what to do ? should i still follow him ? or just continue the project ? ... UGH ! i just excused myself and head outside and rang up Liam

"Hey babe ? is there a prob?" Liam asked 

"Liam ... What am i going to do ? Niall and i had a fight .." i frowned

"Wow ! tell me what happened babe ! i can help you out" 

I told him everything and he just kept quiet or maybe he's speechless 

"Ohh .. babe don't worry everything is going to be alright , just always remember that i love and miss you okay ? I LOVE YOU WITH ALL OF MY HEART !  " 

i smiled like an idiot while holding my phone "Okay babe i need to go now , thank you for the time i love and miss you sooo much ! " as i ended the call

I came back in my flat and i can see that Harry is there on the floor exhausted while having a nap and he's still holding a pencil so maybe he couldn't help himself that he took a nap.

I walked towards him an check if he really is asleep , i removed the pencil and lift him up to the couch even tho he's SOOOO HEAVY .i put a blanket over him and hold his curls .

As i whisper "Goodnight curly" and smile. I went back to the floor and clean up and i can see that he did finish the project ! ... wow i didn't even help him , i feel guilty 

He should take the credit not me .i head straight to my room and i closed the door and turn the light off . 

For that night i broke a heart of an innocent guy . And i offered my couch to a curly and seductive guy ...

WOW this day is just tiring ..
