A simple wish

The date

I woke up the next morning and realized i had some fun-kay breath.

I got dressed,brushed my hair and teeth. i walked downstairs and thankfully mom wasnt up yet.

I sat down and ate my poptart when my phone buzzed.riker.

Hey.

Hey riker,why are you up so early?

I couldent stop thinking about you.

Aww,thats so sweet. and honestly, that was my prob to.

Ha. well just wanted to talk to you so im outta here.

Ya me too. see ya at 8.

K. bye.

Bye.

I finished my food and sat around all day untill about 7:30.

I decided to take a little walk when i bump into..."ratliff?"

"Oh,sorry bout that."

"Nah its ok. im lilly by the way."

"Oh so your the one riker cant stop talking about. well its nice to meet you, but i gotta run."

"Ok.see ya!"

He waved and i continued on my walk.

There's no doubt in my mind that riker will ask me to be his girlfriend after the second or third date. not that im being cocky or anything, its just that i think he really likes me and i really like him back. but dose he know that? well, he will tonight.

I got home at about 7:55, so i hurried up and changed into a simple t-shirt and jeans with black converse.

Riker showed up and i opend the door to find a awesome smelling,smiling riker.

"Ready freddy?" he said playfuly.

"You know it!"

We got to the theater and every time something scary happend (so basicly the whole movie) i would shove my face into riker's chest, and i could tell he was smiling.

After the movie, we took a drive to the beach. i can see where this is headed.

"Wow riker,this place is butiful."

"Not as butiful as you."

I swear my heart melted.

"Awww thats so sweet."

"I know. im a nice guy."

"No,your a great guy."

"Thanks.can i ask you something?"

"Sure." eeeep!

"I know this girl,that i really like, and i cant find a good way to ask her to be my girlfriend."

WHAT?!

"oh...well i think you should tell her how you feel."

"Ok,i think you are the most wonderfull peeson on this entire planet."

"Riker...i...."

"I know. im crazy for asking you to be my girlfriend on the first date."

"No,i feel the same way! i dont think thats crazy!"

"So is that a yes?"

"Duh!"

He picked me up and twirled me around and finally put me down.

We drove home in silence. not awkward silence, but comfortable silence. Finnaly, we parked in my drive. i walked up onto the porch,with riker trailing behind me.

"Can i help you?"

"Yes."

"With wh-"My scentance was cut short by riker kissing me beeply on the lips. wow his lips were so soft,and warm.

We pulled away,letting all the sparks fly. we just kinda stared at each other,with these dumb smiles on our faces.

"I love you." he gently whisperd in my ear.

"I love you too."

I walked inside and sat down with a sigh.

"How'd the date go?"

I cant tell her were boyfreind and girlfriend.

"Great.i really like him mom."

"Well good for you." she said, with what almost seemed like a fake smile. eh,whatever.

I went to bed,knowing that no matter what, riker and i will always love eachother. always.
