Hadrian felt the cool air whip across his face as he picked up his pace, he hadn't planned to run tonight. However, so far returning to the magical world, had only been one headache after another. Hadrian wasn't an easy person to get along with, he was as Draco Malfoy would only helpfully describe him as.... complicated. Therefore it wasn't shocking that since arriving at Hogwarts, he had only experienced confrontation that held threats of physical violence.

Hadrian was reaching the end of his third lap of the lake. The coppery taste of blood lined his saliva, making him aware that he was pushing himself too hard. He slowed his pace, as he knew if he didn't stop now he would be running all night. Hadrian was an obsessive thinker, therefore once he was focused onto something, it was hard to look past it. It was common that, if he didn't break out of his thoughts early on, he could lose himself to them.

The September air, was surprisingly dry. Hadrian felt a billow of steam line the inside of his clothing, igniting his skin. Hadrian ripped off his dark hoodie, throwing it to the floor. The fresh air hit against his skin like fire and ice. Hadrian tipped his head back in relief as he stood still, allowing to breeze to wash around him. The feeling didn't last long.

"Fuck!" Hadrian, yelled out to himself.

Hadrian was doubted himself. His thoughts flew back at him, in a bombardment worry. He wasn't sure about all of this. It suddenly felt the dying urge to run away - far away, from his parents, from his brother, from Dumbledore. Suddenly, the dark hairs on his arms stood on end, his skin following suit, raising in goosebumps.

Someone was there, watching.

Rotating slowly, Hadrian narrowed his eyes to look beyond the tree line and into the forest. He saw nothing. He scanned the school border, where a number of greenhouses and storages buildings laid claim. Still nothing. He took in a breath. Yes, he could taste it in the air. He was sure of it, something was out there.

Hadrian slowly shifted closer to the forest - stepping toward the foreboding dark green. The Animagus inside of him had never felt so free. He felt it shift inside of him as if howling with elation. The wilderness seemed to scream to him, the abundance of trees acting like a blanket of savaged comfort.

Hadrian had made it to the obscurity of the trees, dipping between Hogwarts's open land and the deep dark depths of the trees. In a filtered blink, Hadrian shifted. Hadrian Potter, the wizard was no longer. In his place was something else entirely. He had lost all depiction of a human's form, instead black fur claimed his skin and four legs took out the two.

Charcoal Black, large as a wild grizzly. A momentous Albanian wolf, crouched snarling. The very sight of the animal was utterly bewildering. Beauty and Danger battle in equal measure. It was hard to know whether to stay in wonder, or run fast, as if your life depended on it. The only thing that hadn't changed about the form were the eyes - piercing bright green and bright. Their power hadn't changed either, they looked at you hard, as if it could see your deepest desires.

The large black beast strode forward in large powerful strides. The significance of the moment made it seem as if it walked forward in slow motion... one step after the other, in silent slow movements. The forest seemed to be aware of its presence... it became eerily still as if listening, or waiting?

The animal suddenly shifted on to its hindquarters, as if to pounce. Its thick fur trembled as it took in a breath. Yes... now he could taste it. In a frightful blink, a smaller brown wolf leaped through the forest. The snarling brown beast, flashed its long white fangs, aiming for the new comer. Hadrian was quick and rolled out of the way, missing the impact of its landing. What a joke. He snorted at the failed attack. But now it was his turn... crouching low, Hadrian leapt high into the air. He was quick, took quick. He landed on to the chest of smaller wolf, winding him of breathe.

"Fucking asshole." Hadrian thought.

Hadrian growled low, however the tone somehow implied laughter. Hadrian rolled off of the smaller wolf, allowing him the chance to breath. In a blink of an eye, the two wolf's shifted back, leaving two boys in their place - naked and ripped.

"Were you scared, Hades?" A voice mocked.

"Did you think you were going to get eaten?" continued the same arrogant voice.

Hadrian smirked, finding the banter amusing. Moving fast, he feigned a punch to the handsome face of Alec Morti. Alec dodged, but still got a knuckle to the side of his head.

"What the fuck was that for, sneaking up on me like that. Did you want to get bit?" Hadrian replied.

Despite him being just as mocking, there were some traces of anger hidden in his tone. It most likely had something to do with being stalked like some sort of prey. Alec Morti's dark eyes, narrowed at the punch.

"You don't wanna fight me, Morti, trust me." Hadrian smirked, bearing his teeth in a gleeful sneer.

Alec didn't test him any further, instead he smiled, as if he had somehow won. Hadrian considered it was probably Alec's intention to rile him up. Fuck, it worked.

"Where is the ginger prick? Haven't seen in yet." Hadrian spoke changing the subject.

Alec started to laugh, leaning up against a nearby tree, crossing his arms as he started to explain.

"On the last night of summer he went out and got totally out of it. You know, shots, coke, the whole damn package." Alec smirked knowingly.

"Jesus Christ." Hadrian rolled his eyes.

"Apparently, he woke up in a bed in Italy and had to find a Portkey to get back." Alec spoke still utterly perplexed.

"Are you joking?" Hadrian asked, already knowing the answer.

"Nope, I just hope the shag was worth it." Alec laughed darkly.

"That stupid fucker." Hadrian couldn't believe it.

A growl echoed, a slender tall wolf stepped out of the darkness, its beautiful red coat shining in the moonlight. A white wolf, painted the colour of snow, came out right behind it. A smaller sandy brown followed suit. Then flanking from the left, came two more, both dark in colour. The first was brown almost auburn and much stockier with longer fur. The other had a bluish hue to it with grey eyes and it wasn't nearly as big. Lastly, from the centre of the wood, came a chocolate brown wolf, eyes flecked yellow gold.

"Couldn't help yourselves, could you?" Hadrian asked.

"Jared, Draco, Theo, Mason, Tyler, Blaise." Alec nodded to all in greeting.

A snap of a twig forced both Alec and Hadrian to shift back into their wolf form.

A tall but lithe wolf stepped out, it was grey with amber eyes.

"Ah, you're here," growled Hadrian.

"You didn't think I would have missed this, did you?" Nev growled in return.

The wolves lips tipped up and guffawed in what only could be described as wild united laughter.
