"I am Amon" the beast said. Jocelyn was at a loss for words. After a short pause, Jocelyn started running. She made it about 10 feet when the beast managed to put a wall of flames in front of her. Jocelyn turned around and stared at Amon. "You and I have been given a contract, I am a marquis who governs forty legions of hell." He informed.
     "Contract!?" Jocelyn exclaimed.
"All will be answered in time." The beast said before disappearing, leaving a small part of the grass burnt.
     "What the..."

Tanner woke up feeling dizzy, he looked around. Wherever he was definetly wasn't where he was before. He was on a floating island, it was all black, the grass, the soil, everything. Everything around him, like the sky, was white. He noticed an all black apple tree in front of him on the island.
"Hello." The man from earlier had appeared behind him.
"JESUS" Tanner yelled in a startled tone.
"Yup, that's my name." He said. Tanner paused.
"Your name is Jesus?" He asked.
"Yup, Jesus Christ." He said. At first Tanner didn't believe him, but judging from where he was, he had no reason not to believe him.
"So... what is this place..?" Tanner asked Christ.
"You." He said. "Or rather, how you perceive yourself. You're heart."
"So, like the Velvet room from Persona 5..." Tanner mumbled to himself.
"That's a good game." Christ said. Tanner turned and looked at Jesus.
"You play Persona 5?" Tanner asked.
"I platinumed it actually." Jesus said. Tanner immediately began to bow down to Jesus. He began laughing.
"I'd love to keep talking about it, but that's not why I brought you here." He said.
"Why am I here then?" Tanner asked.
"Well, judgement day is coming sooner than planned, and that's not good. You guys still have another 3.8 billion years" He said. "Demons have been rising from Hell itself to commit mass genocide on Earth, Hell is quite literally breaking loose." He said.
"That's not good..... So why me?" Tanner asked.
     "You've been chosen." He said.
"We're trying to find humans willing to form contracts with familiars, normally it's angels, but there's only so many. We've had to capture some demons for familiar use." He claimed. "You get a very special familiar, he's the last one we could give out." He said. Just then, dark smoke began to swirl next to Christ, revealing a man with a dark cloak and a scythe.
"Greetings." He said, waving his hand.
"My God..... It's the Grim Reaper...." Tanner said in shock.
"He prefers, 'Angel of Death'. He doesn't like it when kids nowadays say 'Grim Reaper'. He isn't even that grim of a person!" Christ said.
"I like puppies a lot." Death said. Tanner just awkwardly stared at the two.
"More will be explained later, I promise." Christ said. "Until then, I'll be leaving you two together, Death will be watching over you." Christ concluded, giving Tanner a hug. When Jesus embraced him, everything got foggy.

Tanner shot up and looked around, not a second had gone by, he was back in the real world again. Tanner leaned his head back and let out a long sigh.
"I'm not sure if I should tell anyone else or not. He said more people are doing this too, though?" Tanner thought to himself. Just then, his mother got in the car with his brother, and drove back home.

The next day was Friday, Tanner still felt a little weird after the Jesus experience. He walked into school trying his best not to raise any red flags. Just then he got pulled to the side by an arm. He looked and noticed that it was Jocelyn.
"Try to be quiet." She said.
"Why? Is everything okay...?" Tanner asked.
"I'm not too sure at the moment." She answered. "Has anything weird happened to you recently? Like, at all?" She asked.
"A lot of weird stuff happens to me, Jocelyn." Tanner answered.
"I mean like, supernatural." She said. Tanner's eyes widened.
"Um.... Yeah." Tanner said stroking his neck. "I saw Death." He said quietly. "Jesus too." He said again.
"Have you ever heard of Amon? Like, the demon? He looks like a wolf with flames coming out of his mouth but has a lizard's tail?" Jocelyn asked.
"A little bit, why? Does this supernatural thing involve contracts?" Tanner asked. Jocelyn nodded.
"Okay, hold on, we can talk about this later, for now we should get to class." She said, putting her finger over Tanner's mouth so he couldn't speak. When Jocelyn walked away, Tanner heard this dark, monotone voice.
"She has a familiar too." The voice said.
"WHAT THE-" Tanner said, slipping and falling in the hallway.
"My bad, Jesus did say I'd be watching over you, so you're about to have a bad case of schizophrenia." He said. Ethan appeared behind Tanner and put his hand on his shoulder.
"You okay? You look a little pale..." He said.
"Bathroom." Tanner thought. "I gotta get to the bathroom." Tanner put his hand on his mouth and faked the gag reflex to make it appear like he had to puke. He darted off down the hall to the bathroom. He checked to make sure nobody else was in there. All clear.
"Yeah, you can only speak to me with your voice, I can sense emotions and other things, but not thoughts." Death said. "Just get to class and ignore me until you get home, I'll be your wingman, and I'll be damn good at it." He said.
"Death is my wingman." Tanner said to himself. He decided to head off to class, and ignore the extra voice in his head.
