"A what!? Are you for real?" I shouted

"Yes. and quit yelling, you're hurting my poor ears."

"What's a vampire doing here?" I whispered. " This is an all werewolf high school."

"Ya think I don't know that? Like how am I supposed to know why a vampire is at our school? Heck I don't even know what gender it is." Amnesia stated.

"Well all this might not even be true. I mean it's a rumor right, not all rumors are true."

"I don't know Ana, this one might be true. Anyway I have to go before the warning bells go off.  See you at lunch." She said walking away.

A vampire, I thought.  No that can't be true

You see in the past there were a lot of "never-ending" wars between vampires and werewolves and how whole generations almost get totally wiped out because we could never get along. So due to that fact, we've become a Segregated society. We've separated stores, schools, parks, pools, beaches, restaurants, etc.  I grew up believing that vampires are bad people, so to find out one may be attending this school, anyone would freak out a little

I entered my science class and went straight to my seat in the back of the room. I was staring out the window when the late bell rang.

"Alright class, may I have your attention please." Mrs. Emerald clapped trying to get the classes' attention.

I slowly looked up in her direction to see a tall boy with a jet black hoodie on with the hood over his head. He was wearing skinny ripped blue jeans with some type of black shoes with a tag. He stood near Mrs. Emerald's desk with his head held down and hands stuffed deep into his pockets.

"We have a new student joining us today. This is Justin. Please be nice to him as it is his first day." Mrs. Emerald said gesturing towards him with a strained smile. She seemed to be trying to keep her distance while trying to not make it obvious she was uncomfortable. Whispers erupted inside the classroom as people started to share the own rumors on who this 'mysterious' new kid could be.

"I've heard that he's been kicked out of three states!" Some girl exclaimed behind her poorly held hand.

"Well I've heard that he's wanted for treason!" Another said causing someones face to pale.

"Someone told me that he's part of an underground mafia group that deals with killing and illegal drugs!" The whispers continued as more and more people put out some more unrealistic fantasies about the boy standing at the front of the class. Yep I go to a school with a bunch of drama queens.

"Um Justin you can go ahead a sit next to.... Anastasia since she's the only one sitting by herself." Mrs. Emerald directed before vaguely pointing in my direction.

'Wait what?! Mrs. I'm not the only one sitting by myself. What about Dylan over there in the back of the room with his head down? He's not sitting next to anyone! Or or what about Ellis over there in the front of the room by the window? She's literally sitting in front of your desk texting away on her phone, with her feet propped up on the table sitting next to absolutely no one! Pick on of them not me!' I internally screamed at her.

Justin slowly made his way over to my table then sat down. I felt him look up and over at me while I glared daggers at the beat up table in front of me. Despite every fiber of my introverted being telling me not to, I slowly looked up and made eye contact with him. He had light brown eyes that almost looked golden, full arched eyebrows, high cheek bones and a perfectly sculpted jaw line. So in other words he was pretty handsome. The only flaw that was present was the little faded scar he has running through the corner of his bottom lip.
