Days went by. Hellen didn't go to school at all. She just stayed home being depressed. Hellen still wanted to find Gary though, that was her only hope.

Then, everything changed when Hellen was walking around Eleland that night, near the beachfront. She watched the stars twinkle as she walked. Hellen remembered what she asked Gary that one time they were at school. She asked him "Why do the stars twinkle?", But Gary didn't answer since he wanted to pay attention to class. That would be the only memory Hellen would always cherish.

Hellen then sat down on a bench near a stranger. He was wearing a very rugged, dark cloak that blended in with the night. She decided to ask him the same question that she would ask Gary.

"Why do the stars twinkle, stranger?" She asked

"Because they're as beautiful as you are." The stranger said back.

Hellen looked dumbfounded and turned to the strange man. She recognized that voice...

"GARY? Is that you?" Hellen asked the stranger.

Hellen looked closer, and the stranger was actually Gary!

"Hellen!" Gary exclaimed. "Gary!!" She said back.

Hellen then embraced Gary with a big hug. She started to cry of joy because she finally found him.

"Gary! Where were you this whole time! I was getting very worried and it was very scary!" Hellen said.

"Well, you see--" Gary couldn't finish his sentence because he noticed the bruises on Hellen's back. "Good heavens. What happened to your back?" He asked.

Hellen sighed. "Bullies.." she said in a disappointed manner. "But don't worry. I don't want to go to school anymore. I lost all hope because everything and everyone I had was gone. Hope. You." She said.

"I see. Well I'm here now. So you shouldn't worry anymore!" Gary said in a hopeful manner, trying to make Hellen feel the same way.

"Gary. No. I want something else. I want a new life. Let's me and you move to the other side of Eleland. Please. I just want a new life for the both of us..." Hellen said in hopes of him agreeing while she shed a tear.

Gary looked at Hellen with a hopeful look. "Okay, Hellen. But just for you and me. Because, you see, as I was saying, I tried to get away from my problems as well because I hated those bullies. They would always hurt us. Mentally and physically... And that teacher... She never... EVER even helped us..." Gary looked to the left for a while, then back at Hellen.
"A-also, remember when I hit the bullies? I thought you hated me when I did it because you looked disappointed at me. I felt like I lost a friend. Basically my only friend. I lost all hope."

Hellen looked down and cried years of job. Gary lifted her face with his finger and looked at her, took off his cloak, and grabbed Hellen's hand. They went off to find a new life somewhere else in Eleland. Someplace else that they could enjoy life better...
